Not really. I spam trade and the forums announcing it every day for a month straight on both alliance and horde side and everyone shows. I host these wars about once every 3 months on my server. They are a blast!!!

do you get to loot the dead bodies of your fallen foes,and take those badge looking things off them,and get a lil cash along with it, or are these battles more for bragging rights than anything else?

Hmmm, Alliance had about 2 raid groups and we had 4. So they were just outnumbered but these wars are never even.....just fun as hell.
