dude i always liked Ovie but Malkin is an awesome guy man, I think guys people living outside of moscow are simpler people, great stuff man thanks for the vid
its really easy for English speakers to criticize guys like Geno, even though his English is pretty damn good....try learning Russian and then take a trip to Russia and answer questions like that and see how easy it is
His English is amazing considering Russian is fucking ridiculous to learn/speak. So anyone commenting negative things on his English, shut the fuck up and you go try to learn Russian perfectly, you assholes.
i dont see why its soo difficult for geno to learn english.. i mean fuckin.. he's here in AMERICA.. playing for an "American English speaking" team. it just sux.. because he's such an amazing player and to not give a proper interview just blows... poor geno.. i'd give give him some lessons, and then some...........
Geno comes from the southern parts of the ural mountains in Russia where it's more important to have food on the table than to learn english. And some people just has an easier time learning new things than others.
So give the guy a break.
But you go ahead and go to whole new country, with a different culture and different language and see how well you do.
@SpastikPhil Well said man. Couldn't have said it better. I can speak from experience. Some people are just too arrogant and ignorant to understand the whole aspect of how hard things are because either they quit doing the hard stuff or just found an easier way.
Stop riding his back! For example I started studying English when I was six, he started after his first NHL game and frankly I think he is doing great!! I am pretty sure he understands when he is spoken to, but has a harder time expressing himself orally + people can become nervous when doing interviews.
This was Malkin's first time back in Helsinki since he defected from his Russian team at the airport there. The reporters were trying to get him to talk about that and he wouldn't. lol.
GENO GENO GENO!
