100% is vertical!
Otherwise what grade would u call 40 degrees from vertical?!!

@tpvalley 100% in terrain means that you are 100m higher after driving 100m, that is a slope of 45 degrees.

@duudsuufd to reach 100m high after driving 100m, u need to drive vertically :) ie 90 degree !! with 45 degree, to reach at 100m high, u need to drive the distance of 100*sqrt(2) m... 4th std maths :)
