That poor guy is sure 'hung out to dry!' Nice memory, as are a lot of the 10-15 second animated letter demonstrations involving something strange occurring within the 'speech balloon.' (Others include 'a - ape,' 'e - egg,' and 'z - zipper').

Personally I love this one. As a kid I used to wonder why this was about washing when the characters AND the clothes looked so grimy!
