We're a nation where most people think of bodybuilding when they hear weightlifting, followed by powerlifting, and finally strongman competitions. Oly lifting is barely a blip on the workout radar here, so it's not like we have the same number of people dedicated to the sport.

Sad, as I prefer Oly to powerlifting due to the suits, etc - though I enjoy both.

his potential in olympic weightlifting was crazy! he just didn't really get it down, he could have done way more, you would see him like squatting around 900 pounds and he would just squat it amazingly easy, it was crazy..
