  • My Yamaha P95 has 10 voices. I only use one - Grand Piano and play with the keys and pedals. If I want to push buttons I go to my microwave!

  • He's really involved in this amazing demonstration of truly, one of the greatest sounding instruments ever................

  • would buy that caculator? hahaha

  • woow amazing,great drum sound ....

  • I m rather impressed ( at the end )

Please could you have a look

at my OBAMA BLUES on KN6500

    on my opening page

and then place a comparing video

of how the tyros would do the WALKING BASS.

    Thanks a lot

    pa-keyboards. d e

  • works with mp3?? please give me an answer

  • I hate the fact that they never separate the audio digitally and then add it to the video. That way all the instruments sounds would sound amazing.. not like a stupid toy keyboard. This keyboard has the best sound quality ever, and the different instruments tones are very accurate. Cameras always pick a shitty quality sound.

  • wow the super GAY keybord super yamaha keep it up !

  • BRILLIANT. How much has T3 come down to now T4 is now out? I bet T4 is about 3 and a half grand. Nonsence to the idiot who said you make Tyross sound like a cheep casio. That person(s) should get their ears and head tested. Mind you some of those old casios aren't too bad though. Cheers from Rich

  • Anyone know how much these are? and can you download new voices for them?

  • Love the keyboard features and the controls...But the design is just terrible..Korg Oasys still remains as the best workstation! Ridiculous Design Yamaha! I was expecting more.

  • thk you but korg far better than that

  • this vdo makes me laugh.... u made t3 sound like cheap casio

  • @rizkhancnn Okay .. casio salesman.. put up a video showing your casio or whatever crap you have can sound like that ?? You want to knock something then you better have something to back it up or people just call you a stupid moronic liar ?

shheesh . so are you stupid or just a liar?

  • @rizkhancnn LOL you are right.

  • loving your work Martin! (and Simon) Jo xx

  • Funky house yeah :P

  • i would like to now if i can make my own styles or new styles in this keyboard ,i want to buy one like this

  • pa800 é mto melhor em....

  • fucking homo

  • yes......" it can sound like this"...verrrrrrrry flat ....no balls...nothing...no power...yes the sounds are realistic but the arranger suks... even if you play rock or house the sound is soft....

  • I hope he's getting paid alot to move his head like that.. Im just saying.

  • Semplicemente stupenda !

  • Same reason why you didnt say anything else in your comment I guess

  • When Yamaha wants to sell these ...

    give me a call

  • Sounds like porn music.

  • @jimmyjimmyjimmyjames AAAHAHAAHAHAH

Amicalement Jean-Luc Th.

  • Wieso so eine super teure gerät hat KEINE 7/8 , 9/8...takte z.b. wie bei KORG-ROLAND??!!!

    ;p

  • i have a tyros3 why cant you change the timig to 7/8 or 9/8 then the assign slider for right hand turns the left hand down .not happy still behind

  • yoo so beatifull style and this fucking organ fuck it fuck organs i dont like this voice

  • I own both keyboards (Tyros 3 and Fantom G7)

    TYROS 3 IS THE KING!!

  • @Teknoss Yeah, yeah...! This keyboard it's the best, THE KING...!

  • @Teknoss Saw your comment cause interested in the Tyros 3. Currently have the Fantom X8. Question, do you need both keyboards after you have the Tyros? How would you use them differently or together. I'm not sure if I should sell my Fantom to get the Tyros. Haven't mastered sequencing on the Fantom and figure the Tyros makes the rhythms and accompaniments way more convenient. Thx for any advice about whether it's worth it to keep both.

  • @Teknoss BTW, another cheaper option I was thinking of is just supplementing my Fantom with a Yamaha QY100 sequencer module for accompaniment (thus not needing to buy a Tyros perhaps). But the QY100 may not be much easier to program than direct sequencing on the Fantom. My main goal is easy, on the fly, accompaniment rhythms. Any thoughts?

  • Oh my gosh! People see what this guy is saying. He sounds like a crying baby saying "Show me show me the articulations". Oh man grow up! Articulations is just hte kind of feature for those ridiculous players that are not skilled enougth to play the articulations themselves. Whatch some Jordan Rudess videos and you see what a real articulation is. He plays it. Tyros must fit you perfectly because you cannot articulate with your own fingers and so you need a button to do that for you!

  • YOU=NOTHING. Restaurant Maestro!

  • Man please change you nick to RestaurantMaestro. Tyros sounds great indeed, specialy for those who want to play while people eat. I would like to to see you doing real music in a studio or playing live in a real band. No chances for you and you expensive toy Tyros...

  • Well the first thing I check out on a new synth how realistic the piano patch sounds, and in my opinion Yamaha is leading the industry as of now, and that's from comparing it to the G8 and Korg. But someone wrote a comment earlier that stated: They all have their strengths and weakness: So true. Choose the one that's right for you. I would like to add G8,and the Tyros along side of my Motif....Ahhhh the fun I would have! But Yamaha is kicking Mucho anus as for now though!

  • IMPORTANT NOTE!: This is just Part 2 of a longer demo. Where is the link to Part 1? (starts off with an introduction of a great imitation of Irish uilleann pipes...)

  • the keys is too short

i buy it last year and i just trow it because it sounds like shit now i use roland

  • to be perfectly honest, i would say Korg, Roland and Yamaha all have their individual strengths, i would want all 3 of the top synths/keyboards from these manufacturers :)

  • Man be careful with your words. Tyros 3 is really great keyboard but you cannot compare it to Roland G8. When compared to G8 Tyros 3 is just an expensive toy. There are lots of features more importatn than articulations in a professional keyboard. I own both Tyros 3 and G8 so I can tell you that Tyros 3 is a great entertainment keyboard and G8 is the real deal when it comes to professional workstation. So please, don't say Roland = Nothing.

  • The Tyros 3 has better sound than the G8. Motyf Yamaha is better than Roland fantom g

  • Ok man. Do you own both? If you do, all I have to tell you and to all of those who agree with you is that you are an amateur. I own both and I kown that Fantom G8 is by far the best keyboard ever. Tyros is a great entertainment keybord vey useful for restaurant players.

  • vbzero I agree! Before buying I did a lot of research and tested motif and the korg m3. I was about to buy the motif when I was introduced to the fantom g8. Thanks God I did that. Fantom much better than motif and m3. I don't know about Tyros, but it is an arranger which is another type of keyboard. It cannot be compared to G8 and motif because these ones are synths/workstations... No arranger can match the sounds of a synth.

  • well, I think the fantoms and the kurzweils are better. yamahas sound too artificial for my liking. apart from that, if it is the best for you, I won't argue on that.

  • how many rhythms does it have!?!?!?

  • u look so fucking bold and ugly, nice keyboard by the way

  • Nice keyboard, my friend is hopefully getting one for X-mas. And you are uber talented.

  • it,s fantastic..please play more..please..i could hear this every day...it,s so great

  • how much?

  • man i thought the fantom g8 or yamaha motif xs are the best...do we have tyros 88 weighted keys?

  • You should continue thinking like that. I have both and I can say that Fantom G8 is the best keyboard ever.

  • Comment removed

  • can someone explain the two bend wheels on this keyboard? ones a pitch bend whats the other one for?

  • Modulation.

  • Yamaha could build the best Keyboard on History by merging Tyros 3 with a Motif XS 8. Imagine the possibilities of having an Arranger and Workstation on the same keyboard, with sequencer, sampling, vocoder, Internal Hard Drive and so on...

Super Articulation 2 is fantastic, and even Motif XS don´t have them...

    Regards,

    DM

  • Take a look at Roland G8 and you will see your dream coming true.

  • Even a Yamaha Psr 3000 is waaay ahead of Roland. I own a roland myself and since i first played on a Psr 3000 i don´t want to play my roland anymore.

  • For a restaurant player, maybe... But for a professional musician you are way wrong. I own both Tyros 3 and Roland G8 and I can tell you that Tyros 3 is just an expensive toy if compared to G8.

  • I'd agree with thatsabiggon I have a Roland always thought they were number 1 but not now I've heard the latest yamaha's just amazing

  • the worst is their prices. so ridiculously expensive.especially in greece where nakas is monopoly on yamaha products.

and if you touch a piano they are over your head like asswholes.and i dislike them.you have to be rich to have a yamaha

  • Really? Where i live they're not that expensive. I don't really like yamaha as much as other manufacturers though.

  • 5:38 +++ :)

  • why wont Yamaha put those kind of sounds in Motif's or S90xs? ........

  • 1:53

    It's Greensleeves

  • Roland keyboards totally kick Yamaha ass..Ask to see the manual(s)..

They might as well hook up a cd to it and sell it restaurant lobbies.

get a mac with logic and spend the savings in hawaii

  • LOL. Are you kidding? The Tyros kills anything Roland, Korg, & even Yamaha has produced in the last 30 years & beyond! Apprently you've not compared this head to head with another keyboard in the same range. I think you're a Roland owner trying to defend your product. I am a die hard Reason 4 & VST user (GSI, MusicLab, Acoustica), but some of these sounds I have to use. I have realguitar2L & realstrat 1.0 & this dominates them in initial sound.TYROS is king, friend. That's not opinion it's fact.

  • Comment removed

  • I own both and if you think that way you are an amateur not a pro... There is no way that expensive toy called Tyros could match the sound and features os a real synth workstation like Fantom G8. Tyros cannot even be compared to its big brother motif. Do more research, study a lot and become a professional musician then you will be able to talk about Fantom G.

  • Again another person trying to defend a product they own. Why? The Motif & Fantom are largely for production & the Tyros is a performance keyboard, which it does better than both. If you're talking synths sounds, editing, & a large variety of okay EPs then a motif or Fantom are fine, but for sheer authenticity & expression the Tyros3 has no hardware competition. the Motif ES was updated to XS to include Tyros technology. Why do you think Tyros3 costs more than either in their 88 key versions?

  • "Again another person trying to defend a product they own."

I own both. I agree when you say Tyros is a performance keyboard so it cannot be compared to Motif or FantomG. But you forgot that F.G has a Performance mode that allows it to perform far beyond the reach of any arranger workstation. F.G and Motif allow you to create any kind of music in a studio, but the F.G does more with the Performance mode + full effects, pads, patterns, etc. No arranger can do it maintaining the sound quality.

  • @vbzero, I'm speaking of sound quality & expression. NONE of these amazing & realistic tones with all of their articulations are found on Fantom G... Please, prove me wrong... I (like many)use Reason 4, GSI's models vintage instruments, & MusicLab's guitars for sequencing & they blow Fantom & Motif to hell, so my only need in a keyboard is authentic sound & Tyros does it better than any keyboard marketed in the USA.

  • Please, place both SideBySide, turn them on and test all patches of both as I do every single day since I bought these two. When you do that, you can discuss about sound quality & expression. I will not lie to you: When it comes to an arranger, off course Tyros is better, but when it comes to sound & expression, Tyros has no chances against FG. You can compare Motif to FG, but not Tyros. My XP-50 sounds better than Tyros! Articulations? That's for amateurs. See Jordan Rudess playing and tell me.

  • @vbzero, I own an XP-60, so that was just silly. I have also played the FG & XS frequently. Since your intent is to insult me by suggesting I'm an amateur (so what?) to try & validate your opinion I'll say this: I'm a gospel organist who plays one man band style with midi pedals & two boards, so fantom or motif only meet partial needs. I need all instruments to articulate for a truer effect, as Im playing multiple instruments, so Tyros to me is king. BTW, XS was created to include Tyros specs.

  • I'm not here to insult you by any means. If it sounds like I am doing tha, sorry. Yamaha ads says clearly that SOME Tyros 3 sounds come from Motif. Tyros is king for you and is the king of the current arrangers, I agree on that. I'm just saying that ther eis now way to compare an arranger to a synth. That's it. Why do you think I bought both? Because they are both kings of their kinds. Please take a look at FG Performance mode and tell me what you think. No war, just words, ok?

  • @vbzero. Firstly, I'm almost 30 & am maturing passed my combative stage, so you have no worries there... Unless we're talking religion (~: Anywho. I'll say this: We can agree to disagree mostly. I've found everything I need thus far in the Tyros3 (though I don't own one yet) well, except a perfect B-3 patch. I do agree, however, that you can't compare the two keyboards on functionality. But, I lost my urge to create & truly edit sounds after I upgraded from my XP-60 to soft synths.

  • I got angry with some no sense comments, like the ones I saw in this thread. I saw some guys saying ROLAND= NOTHING and TYROS is the king. These piece of art keyboards cannot be compared to each other. Unfortunatly no current arranger can go as deep as a synth in terms of sounding and no synth can go as deep as an arranger in terms of ready to use styles. The first company htat create such keyboard will be the king for me and maybe for you. Agreed?

  • @vbzero, Well we both know that Roland is certainly not nothing... they make great paper weights. lol.Just kidding. I still use my XP-60, as it is a power house.I'm just tired of having to compensate for lack of realism with bends, arps, & tons of imagination...Though my drum & bass expansion leaves little to be desired (I love it). Also understand that I don't own a modern high end hard synth, so I hear the quality of Tyros Versus my best of the 1990s (& my PSR 2100).Wanna give me your Tyros?LOL

  • Paper weights! Great! :)

Ok, it seams like you need an out-of-the-box ready-to-use keyboard. Tyros is really the solution for your needs. I wiil not give you mine, but when you come to Brazil I will let you play using my set, deal?

  • @vbzero, yeah I'm just tired. I used to love making an okay sample sound respectable, that was until sound designers started doing it themselves. I had created so many revolutionary patches with the oscillators on my Korg 01/W FD that I was actually going to sell them, but they dont compare to the modern technology. Don't get me wrong, I had my fun, but I'm so envious of gear that can do the things I work at effortlessly. Anywho. Yes, you have a deal!

  • @tjmpiano well said!

  • Why, did you delete your comment? Look, for those of us on a bit of a budget or who're without the resources to acquire a band for every little gig or recording session, we need a "do it all" machine. These things are to aid in creativity not replace humanity. I don't know anyone who plays guitar, violin, brass, or bass, so should I do without for the sake of "principle"? Come on.

  • i realized that tyros 3 really has an excellent quality sound especially in acoustics. it's just that theres no way i could afford a keyboard worth less than half a million here in Philippines. Honestly, im a roland fan but based on what ive seen, tyros 3 really did a good job this time but not for previous keyboards. (RETRACT)

  • Certainly, the price is ridiculous.

  • how come none of these videos show the middle eastern sounds

  • try OR 700

  • Rich kid toy.....absolute overkill.....for that money I would buy myself a nice warm and not to forget BEAUTIFUL instrument like a Gibson Les Paul.

  • Cold and digital.. try the genesis from gem... much better....

  • 1:56 you should have played "B" with the right hand, instead of H, but doesn´t matter ;-)

  • fantastica...perchè Yamaha, è Yamaha.

  • awesome. I wonder how my Korg Triton Fares against this one.

  • Cool, advanced keyboard. I like it too..really! But let's face it folks..the Tyros 3 is just an "expensive toy" in the face of the MOTIF! :)

  • This is the best keyboard on the world!

an one like this is needed:D

  • yeah its pretty cool..but it can´t stand a chance against a Andromeda synth or other alesis or korgs..but it is very very good as in making backing tracks for blues/jazz and soul music..but trance or space music then it kinda sucks..but for the people that like this kind of sounds/beats..the 3500euro is a bargain! comparing to others that have 64 sounds and cost 15000euro´s..as for example i dont know what brand,,but you get the point.

  • What is the best arranger keyboard on market at this time? Please help me out....

  • Arranger with Styles (acomp)? Tyrus 3 is by far the best.

  • lo voy a pedir para mi cumpleaños xD

  • whats the song at 0:40?

  • 7:10 5*

  • 7:10 Holy Mother!!!

  • KORG

yeah.....you do know what i mean bitches.

  • I don't know what you mean.

  • VERY GOOD ! .....

  • the hammond sounds awesome in the tyros 3

  • this is beautifle stuff.. 4 ever only Roland Fantom G-8, YAMAHA MOTIF XS7 AND YAMAHA TYROS 3

  • mucho para mi jejeje

  • 7:12 is very melancoly music like a movie soundtrack

  • sounds to me like when the movie fades at the end to the credits

  • @lemetemosconfull

hell yeah...it sounds like a lord of the rings soundtrack in the shire... xD

  • the tyros 3 she got midi outs?

  • how much ?

  • Hi

The Tyros 3 is £3,149.00 at Gear4music currently.

  • I can never agree with my self , The tyros is a wonderful keyboard , it really has so much to offer, Just buy you a new Tyros by the time you waste money on cheeper boards and fire all your band members you would have saved money Yes go with Tyros its a wonderful thing of musical joy , Im so moody Of all my keyboards Tyros is my favorite its a very friendly board...but keyboards should not be so high priced none of them overpaying is no fun , I love cheezy boards keyboards are wonderful.

  • what im saying is a real musican artist can make a toy fire truck sound good if they are creative you dont have to have every color in the paint set to make a beautiful work of art.

  • Tyros 2 is really well built it has a real nice solid key bed , the keys are better then the psr's and other models of yamaha and the front panel is real solid built no flimzy plastic feeling parts,it has good sound but to be honest I think the tyros is priced to high still its worth around twelve hundred dollars really and if your poor its worth about $150 to you it dont bring that much happiness musically its a rich mans bells and whistle, as a artist you can do as well with other key boards

  • like tyros3 super

  • Beautiful. By the way, I own a PSR GX-76 and a DGX-505. On the 505, whatever happened to the DSP? It's a newer model than the GX-76, but it's lacking in a few modification features that the GX-76 has. Or does the 505 have DSP and I just haven't figured out how to make it work?

  • 5:00 to 5:40 is beautifull music

  • that's elevator music! hehe!

  • Does this keyboard have as good of sound quality Or the same sound chips as the yamaha motif and if not why not,

One would think that a 61 key keyboard arranger , with a higher price tag then any yamaha motif would at least have the same sound chips in it or even better and I dont mean DSP i mean the sound that the keyboard makes its quality of sound , is it as good as Yamaha Motif ? and are they the same chips inside them people really understand little about this board ..Tone Genarators same?

  • It has some 'articulation' voices that are found on no other Yamaha products, and by far some of the best sounds available. In fact some of the Motif were taken from this.

  • Where is mikael voncken??????

he is the best in the world!!!

some out there talk with michael voncken to make a demostration for tyros 3 please

    HE is THE MAN

  • Are you kidding ? He should open his mind to other music styles. He's playing always the same things despite of the voices quality or the fonctions...always german music! =)

Peter Baartmans and Bert Smorendurg are better in this demonstrations.

  • That's right, He's the Best ....!!!

  • the EtherealMovie sounds very good

  • Its good but your not really making those sound by your own musical ability. you are playing the 'lead' voice and the chords but everything else is just programmed into the machine. So, in reality, playing the keyboard is easy which is not a good advantage as you take false credit for the machines work.

  • Umm, I thought the point of the video was to show off the capabilities of the machine, not his musical abilities.

  • i agree

  • You need to play this differently than you do a regular keyboard, and it takes some effort, practise and for - thought. I too thought it was 'cheating', however once I purchased one (and I love it) - I'm realizing it is a lot harder, and more complex than i thought.

  • Amazing piece of kit. I'd love one of those. Thank you for the demo, just brill.

  • Just WOW !!

much better than the Tyros 2

    especially the electric guitar

it sounds like crap on Tyros 2

    here it's much better.

but still ... they should add more keys and something like a mechanical switch to change the hardness of the keys.

    I'm waiting for Tyros 4 or 5.

  • Superb... amazing quality. Looking forward to buy one...

  • The tyros is far more capable of crappy elevator music

  • Muyb bueno0o cmo se llama el primer tema que toca ques con flauta que no me acuerdo de donde lo conozco?

  • muy muy caro al menos en argentina

  • ma fa finta di suonare!!!!

  • It's much better than represented in the vid because you can create your own voices on it. I bet this demonstration doesn't even scratch the surface based on what the home page says it can do.

  • I really can't understand what this box for? If it can play different styles of music by itself, then who needs that guy besides of it? :)

I'd prefer to look and hear to human playing. This box is some kind of cheating. It only can be helpful in restaurants or some kind of this stuff...

  • Its called a demonstration of what the keyboard can do.

  • so? I don't like the machine doing everything... I prefer a band...

  • It's an arranger workstation. That's what arranger workstations do.

You can build your own styles (the accompaniments) and even instrument sounds, so yes, it does take some talent and skill to take full advantage of what this machine can do.

You should also check out the vocal harmonizer features.

That said, I really wish it could use the PLG-VL and other PLG cards (or can it? It doesn't say so in the specs I've read).

  • Hi Dear

can we load native instruments such as REAKTOR 5 with this key board ... ?

  • look how stupid his head are

  • Stupid cute is what he looks like...he can be that stupid when your that handsome.

  • Great if you want to produce elevator music

  • Yes I love elevator music I bet vince clark Do you have any Idea how many chart topping hits you have listen to in your life that was keyboards you would be shocked...I love cheezy keyboards they make great music love them.

  • I wander how the Key Bed feels like a box of picknick plastic spoons ? If Yamaha has not put better Keys on this tyros 3, The Roland Juno Stage has really great feeling keys and the Korg m3 if wonderful keys, for sure Tyros 3 Yamaha has built a stronger Keybed and keys then Tyros , Tyros 2, and maby a 76 key version would not be to bad, and I wander now many really trance and dance styles Tyros 3 has cause that is my fave Like ATB I do like the box shape better then T2 diamond shape.

  • What is the "song" in 7`13 please, it's very beautiful. Thanks.

  • i think it might be the Narnia theme song

  • Thanks for this demo. It gives a good feeling of what the Tyros 3 is capable of.

  • I Want One!!!!!!!:)))

  • man this guy looks stupid

  • He looks like a Prince that blond babydoll look at his flat stomach and solid fore arms and smooth strong hands and chin with that little cleft Umm mark of beauty he is more pretty then the Keyboard, I bet he gives good hugs.

  • Now for 4: 88 keys, weigthed, with a touch on/off button and i will buy it :P

    lol

  • pirates soundtrack eh.

  • Man that Lionel Richie patch and the "FunkyHouse" patch or whatever it was called sounded amazing.
