  • I Watched This At TOTP 2011 Tv Programme :)

  • The only CHRISTMAS connection of this song is that it was a CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE SINGLE in the UK, that is to say, the number one song in the UK on CHRISTMAS Day (in this case, #1 for 4 weeks in 1987). At any rate...ENJOY!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

  • all their 80's stuff was fucking incredible. post 80's was fucking crap.

  • one of the best groups ever, they are up there with the greats in my book :)

  • i use to HATE this song with a passion, but it's grown on me after a couple of decades, it's better than a lot of crap passing as music today

  • in your face paul mcgann

  • love theis tune old tunes never die

  • Best song from the 80's

  • One of the best, no, THE best cover of all times...

  • should have been Fairytale of New York

  • 1987 was the best!

  • Damn cool song

  • i love ... so much!

  • good good x3

  • Neil looking particularly gorgeous there!

  • Pet shop boys forever

  • This song is all about what is left unsaid in relationships, the ambiguity of the unknown that will always occur.

Also this song reminds me how to show the people that I love that I feel that way!

  • Best cover song ever done by a mile!!

  • Every time I see this song I feel like crying...it brings back so many wonderful memories!!

And how sad that TOTP isn't airing anymore!

  • @Mani26031981 At this point, TOTP was also being shown in North America, and THIS performance I actually remember.

  • when i was younger one of my highligts of christmas day was watching TOTP Christmas special when it was all the number 1 of the year 1987 and 1988 where both good ones as PSB were on both of them twice :)

  • luv this song so much but the 1st 5 sec i could tell he was lip singin, no matter awesome song

  • Of course, this is Elvise's cover, but PSB does it much more better!!!

    <3

  • yes, but only the lyrics is the same...idiot

  • Good!! I listen to Pet Shop Boys when i was 10 year old! and i love this music!!!

  • This song is so full of win it is ridiculous

  • Legends - pure and simple!

  • Because of their creations is why I strongly support them for being inducted in the Hall of Fame,I already signed in.

  • Classic track by a fantastic duo thanx 4 videos luv my music always will.

  • this is all precious Neil is so young and cute and the setting kick asses

  • The Pet Shop Boys have consistently written and produced excellent material for nearly quarter of a century. Perhaps some of their biggest hits have been covers of classics such as 'Always On My Mind' and 'Go West'. Even in 2009, they have never deviated from their originality and the track 'Love, Etc.' is just a reminder of what they have done to make them well renowned.

  • Fantastic.-

  • what a pair of legends

  • The best Elvis remix ever! PSB r the best!

  • By far better than the original! But, suzz74, this is not a remix! It's a cover!

  • Un grand merci au posteur!

  • I love the way they sang. They're one of the great bands who made me crazy when I was young. Their voices are so attracting. 5 * ^ v ^

  • Ahh memories, I love Chris Lowe. He has totally mastered the "disinterested would rather be anywhere else" look to perfection. He is coolness personofied. They are untouchable, looking forward to 2009 and the new album..."YES"

  • Thanks for this. Christmas 1987 though surely?

  • You would have thought so but no, this was from christmas 1988, they performed 2 songs, this one and "Heart". The justification probably was that it was still #1 the first week in 1988!

  • @robet76 .. Heart wasn't released until March 88.

  • @cag79 was Christmas 1987, they were knocked off top spot the week after, but if i remember correctly they didn't do the Top Of The Pops Christmas special until the new year

  • @cag79 .. It was 1988.. They also done xmas TOTP in 87, Chris had a Poshboy hat on,

and even more bizarrely he was wearing a wedding band on his wedding finger.

  • oh, this is lovely... :-) thanx for sharing!
