  • I was just going to ask the tongue was seal all the way to the top... Those look good, I was just looking at the boots on the site man the make good boots alot of people buy those... Good test! Great vid

  • @TeamRippnLipz1 No, the tongue is not stiched to the top of the boot, or you wouldn't be able to slip it on. It does however still provide a waterproof barrier...as long as you don't stand in a puddle for more than a minute.

It's still impressive because I don't know of any other tactical boot that could match this Elite Force 8.0

  • @BassinNW

What about the Magnum's spider Urban 8.1 SZ?

So ain't totally waterproof ... I thoug you could put your feet up to your ankles in a thub and no wet at all ... that would be really waterproof

  • @Themarcelodamian2010 Have not tried the Spider Urban, so I can't comment on that model.

In the video, one boot took miniscule water and the other did not. For the average consumer, standing in a puddle for more than a minute is obsolete.

If you were actually walking through an environment where water was that deep, you would get wet no matter your gear, unless you had a complete head to toe water suite.

    Thanks for stopping by marcelodamian.

  • so you would recommend them for hiking?

  • @TheTobyKing Absolutely, hands down the most dependable boots I have owned. Great support and traction.
