My favourite is probably lies between Most Wanted, Shift 2 Unleashed or World.

They all have flaws like Most Wanted have non-existent multiplayer. Shift 2 cand World can be buggy at time. Still, they are fukken awesome games on its own.

Underground 2 and Most Wanted are the best of the series. Underground 2 has some awesome city design, it's so good to drive there and MW has the best overall gameplay ever, so full of win.

@Raptormau No way, man. Hot Pursuit 2 doesn't have the same kind of free roam, but it's by far the best. Mainly because Underground (which came right after it) started the ricer fad.

Hot Pursuit 2 had Lamborghinis, Ferraris (the last Need for Speed to have Ferraris), had the McLaren F1, had the Aston Martin Vanquish, had the older model Dodge Viper, had the BMW Z8, had Vauxhalls, was the last with the Mercedes CLK GTR.

All Underground had was a couple of Hondas and Toyotas.

Underground 2 - EPIC Game, this is living in my heart!!

Most Wanted - This is so good game..

Carbon - Nice graphics, tuning, but this is not Underground 2 feeling :S

No racing game has ever been more rewarding and satisfying than underground 2. None ever will, until underground 3. They have to go back to it, it makes sense, both games had great reviews, the makers of underground are releasing a game fall 2011, said to go back to old formula in what they did in previous games. Let's hope for the best:D

Oh I forgot 1 thing. I HATE IT WHEN YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO CHANGE CARS ALONG WITH CAREER EVOLUTION. For example: we start with a 240sx then mitsubishi eclipse then evo X then skyline then audi tt then porsche then lambo then the F**kn Pagani Zonda. What if i want to keep my 240sx of evo .... NO of course, we have to F**kn upgrade the cars. That I hate it. In NFS MW you can still beat Razor with your Cobalt, Fiat, or every other car of the list !!

I can't chose the best NFS. But what i really liked is : The editing of vinyle and body kit in pro street, the cops of Most Wanted the Tuning options of U2 (lights, exhaust, mirrors, carbon trunks, neon, audio trunk.. - even if it doesn't change anything :P etc.. There was absolutlely everthing) The story of of Undercover is good but it makes you a good guy (Cop) so MW is nice. And the detail that bothers me is the cars Ex. civic but no porsche, astons or astons, porsche but no cheap civcs ...
