These warlocks had awful gear, it was a lot different vs. a truly geared warlock. Most rogues were simple: seduce (timing important), they wotf, death coil, corrupt, curse of agony, shadow burn - this would do sufficient damage to kill even a HWL geared rogue and every spell instant cast. If they were not so well geared, the shadow burn was unnecessary. If they were a poor player, death coil also unnecessary. Geared locks were a terror in Vanilla.
@Kazumaster that would explain why I never saw death coil used in the whole series hehe - I didn't play continuously through out Vanilla since I was still playing Dark Age of Camelot. I do recall WoTF was crazy, break fear AND make you immune afterwards. I essentially had to death coil after wotf was used. If the there was no death coil, geared undead rogues would be virtually impossible I do agree :)
@vermura And that's not all! Warlocks', druids' and hunters' damage in early vanilla was really laughable ;) Warlocks wore leather (beta), banish was on a 30 min cooldown for some reason, there was no "break all" pvp-trinket (the warlock trinket broke snares only iirc - hell, i'm not sure but even that may have been introduced later) and so on. Early vanilla was an interesting time to play warlock. I saw roughly 2-3 other warlocks every few weeks.
wow i wish i could see them all without youtube fucking up the sound like with most good videos.why doesn't youtube do something right and fuck up the people who prank or screw with people with thoes fucking rick rolls theres enough of them to keep youtube busy for awhile.plus if at all possible could anyone name any of the songs in the back ground when they have them little combat demonstrations.i would like to listen to them when playing wow when alone you know like exploring and its late.
@SupremeTestrun disreguard what i said i forgot about the credits (likely beucase of all the videos out there without credits) but thanks anyways for uploading these videos dispite what youtube thinks is fair and by the way i was looking for songs like "Mario takes a walk"
These players were rank 14 at one time, most of them had down ranked since then. (thats how the system worked back then) Also most of them are wearing gear that was superior to the rank 14 gear from aq 40 and bwl.
Hey man thanks for posting these great Memrobelia or w/e xD neways just like to point something out the rank 14's he vs's naked etcetc arent rank 14 like that AQ40 rogue in Un'goro was actually General i think and the nelf female ^Emma some shit ^ was Commander. love these movies but i just pointed that : p
hmmm yeh it does look like that hehe, maybe just to make him look better haha, cos in the story line he is trying to prove he is a good pvp rogue haha
@bentley33333 no, its that back then you could get to rank 14, and have the gear but if you didnt carry on pving alot your rank would go down, thats how it was with the old system
@GeNo666CiDe Yea i agree the system was better, i pvped alot more back then, i was just saying thats probably why he says hes going against rak 14's, but theyre names are actually lower than rank 14, cos they were once rank 14, but because they pvp'd less, their rank detireorated :P if that makes sense
@bentley33333 In vanilla even though you reached rank 14 and became high warlord/Grand marshal you had only that week on you to buy your new items that you got when you reached that rank. After that if you stopped pvping as much as you did your rank would start to diminish and eventually you would go back to the lower tiers of ranks. But the people always got titles for their highest achieved rank so even though the guy he killed was commander he probably had the high warlord title.

@vermura You're talking late Vanilla there. Early vanilla, Death Coil was on a 10 min cooldown and didn't even have a horror effect.
