I love this show. I discovered it my downloading it last year. I just picked up the DVD boxset yesterday and have been watching it again. It's a real shame it got cancelled. It had a brief run on Channel 4 over here in the UK and I think it's available on their 4oD on demand website as well.
Anyone who liked the West Wing or Network should get the DVD's.
I still miss this show. they shold have hired more Canadians. that saved the real SNL more times then most people like to admit. more Canadians equals funny
Wow that pretty much sums up the entire pilot in 6 minutes. An episode of Studio 60 goes on for way too long. They often bleed them out to 40+ minutes when they could easily be about 20.
Its a great show, I watch the copy I bought from iTunes constantly. Great writing, interesting characters, good acting, Amanda Peet is fantastic, bring it back!
TO TELEVISIBLE:In a lot of ways I agree with you, much of the ways that this show deals with the characters and relationships is 'cheesy' unoriginal (whatever you want to call it) but some of the issues about broadcasting and free speech and democracy etc that it raises-in an entirely digestible, non ambiguous way-are crucial for an American audience who has sent people off to die in the name of free speech/democracy,but probably has the most stunted notion of what that actually means.

This isn't the best promo I've seen, and having read the early script I have a great idea what this show can be, but the promo monkeys mucked up something great again. No wonder early reviews are mixed. NBC, please do yourself and this great show a favor. Please leave the clip up so we can help you generate some interest in this show.

Dear NBC, Earlier, you took down another copy of this. Now, I love a lot of NBC's shows, but it appears that while you've got some great talent, those who police this site just aren't that bright.
You see this, *points to Studio 60*, is free PR. I don't know if you're at all familiar with Seth Godin, but people are sending this to their friends. In other words, you're getting PROMOS forwarded to potential viewers by people they trust. Honey, you can't pay for that. Peace out, Seacrest.
