The Wii version is mediocre compared to this. The arcade version actually beats Modnation Racers, but sadly, the Wii one doesn't.

I have played this game once and I shocked to see how good this game really was! What I liked about the steering gameplay is that it is a lot different to all the mario kart games! Hopefully when a new mario kart game comes out they have got different ideas from this 'arcade' game!

mkdd cannot be one of the worst (as if any MK game was bad). It had 20 characters, and a billion times more options and multipayer game modes than even mk wii has by now. Ok, i know the 2 player on a single kart thing was confusing at first, and it´s 1p mode was short, but still, has great controls, a lot of mdoes and items, and does not slowdown like ahem mk wii. MKDD can be arguably one of the BEST

I gave reasons why i consider Double Dash one of the best. I keep reading MKDD sucks but i never read a proper reason why DD sucks other than "omg, double racing is strange, it suxz". Just tell me what´s THAT bad about DD and i´ll believe it is bad. Personally MKWii is much worse: the online mode doesn´t cover the por frame ratio and slowdowns when playing 4 players, or the lame character roster (4 babies... and bowser has 2 roster spaces, great, where are petey, kamek, etc?)

mkdd was not that great bcos twas not easily acesibl, mkwii explors new mekanics n th online works fine wit me, mkds was uber smooth n had great controls perfec to actualy test ur skill, mkdd is frustratin bcos wit a frend th guy on th back is always gona hav less fun n even if u switch over th rsn th guy was on th back was prolly cos he suckd, playin 1p is not overly exciting cos its pointless having 2 people on th kart, also i thawt th controls wer a bit dodgy in mkdd like slightly unresponsiv

Well, i do not see the "not that accesible" point of MKDD, and the controls in MKDD, weren´t unresponsive but i admit they were a bit slippery and took a little time to get used. Still, when playing a 4 player grand prix, the one on the back does have equal fun and you can always switch. And still, you are not forced to play co-op, you just can play versus or battle the usual way, only versus was more customisable than MKwii, and so was battle mode with THREE battle modes

Also, mkwii loses a lot of fram ratio (a.k.a slowdonws) when you play 4 players, and although i admit the tricks and bikes are cool, the controls ruin it: why does the B button also make you JUMP like R instead of braking a bit in case you need to? (you can only brake and turn when you are almost stopped, if not, you just jump). And also, almost all of the advanced techniques found in like every Mk game were removed on mkwii: touch a wall and you can´t jump to bounce or slide along it: you stop

I agree. Mario Kart Double Dash is one of my favorites. I loved the whole idea of having the ability of choosing what item you'd like to use. I also loved that characters had their special items.

It sucks that Mario Kart Wii doesn't have the special items. Sure the motorcycles and tricks are really cool. It would've been cool if they could have put all the DD courses in Mario Kart Wii.

I'm neutral on the subject and I love both games and still have both.

If your in Sugarland Texas, my cousin said there is one at Incredible Pizza Company. Rainbow Road was fun, but the fag comp. cheated. I was in first the entire time, I saw no one behind me, and no one had any items to boast. when i crossed the finish line, i got in second place! Pacman beat me, toad, but he had lower acceleration than I did. It is fun, but the comps cheat more in this game than any other mario kart.
