Nope. None of the game was used in this AMV. THis AMV was made using the CG Movie: .Hack//TRILOGY.

@Darchon101 This movie is the whole 3 Game G.U. Series rolled into one movie. Some stuff that was in the game is cut out but a lot was added and all the scenes are re-done. Nothing is the same. Iven some of the fight sequences have been re-done. And he get's a new form. Worth Buying Man.

A good AMV in my opinion has good flow, music and image match, sparks an interest of the viewers of what show/game it was, and if it tells a story, it portrays it well.

You did everything. My favorite of the Action category. I wanted to start a riot when I found out you didn't win.

i have to admit that even though dragonforce amv won this in my opinion is a lot more taleneted and a more skilled mv by the looks of things

Hmm... I think it was good, but I didnt think it was great. I think that the reason is because you chose only one thing to show(.hack) and so you where limited in some ways. I believe Wings of a dream won because it was entered in the action category, and because he had dozens of things to pick from, he just had more adrenaline pumped scenes to keep him going the whole way.

Not saying your bad, sorry if you find it offensive.

I don't find it offensive. I welcome the crit. However, more sources don't necessarily mean a better AMV. The AMV has to have great flow, and you can't put scenes in at random. I'm not bashing Noelle's AMV, it won for a reason. Just remember that, it doesn't matter how many shows you use, unless you know how to work and apply the footage as well as transition to each scene in each different show you are editing with, then I advise against it.

On a side note, I don't find I was limited at all, as this wasn't made for a convention to begin with. I love .Hack, so finding footage isn't necessarily hard for me. Whether if I'm just using one source or many, finding scenes isn't the issue. I think ahead when I edit. What scene goes good here? What beat should I hit? Does the flow get interrupted if I add this scene or effect? It's all a matter of timing, flow, scene selection and transitioning.

Glad you welcome the critic, some people find it way offensive.

I do think you did a good job with it and made it flow well, but I stand by my thought that having more sources would have been better. Not necessarily different anime and game footage, but more from the same series would have been nice. It does get odd when you change the focus around to dozens of different characters, instead of feeling for just one.

So, I think if you had more material to work with, you could have found more...

I now understand why you weren't fond of mine. You favor more effects in yours than I do. I like keeping things simple, but I definitely appreciate your style as well. I'm quite fond of watching more effect based amvs, but personally I'd rather stick with the "simple"/RAW editing.
