  • Heel mooi gespeeld!

  • Why is it that none of the European or Russian accordions I see have actual straps to hold the bellows together, for example, for when you move the accordion or sit there without the bellows falling open?

  • The most button accordions don't have these straps. I don't know the reason. I think it looks better without them.

  • Its because when the accordion is being played 'those' straps dont do anything at all, and when it isn't being played it should be in the case, in which case (excuse the pun) those straps dont do anything either ! And why put extra holes in that accordion body?

  • @Georgexu149

I recall that some older accordion models/makes actually had an internal mechanism for locking the bellows in the closed position. Perhaps some of the ones you're referring to have the same? Just a guess.

  • thanks Kris for leading me here:-) really impressive accordeon playing ! all those buttons ! :-)

  • Amazing. And a great piece. 5 stars for sure

  • HEY;)

I must say this is a really good performance, of a great piece of music! Thank you for uploading.. I was there on the competition, and I enjoyed especially Chernukh's playing very much! I made a few records myself, but sadly my last computer died, so I lost them:(

    Well, thanks=)

  • Wow, you sure are highly technical and experimentally playing it. Reminds me of fantasy role playing games on Nintendo. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.

  • Brilliant !!! I downloaded the music from www.coupemondiale.org. Its seems impossible to play on a piano accordion.

  • hey;) well... i dont think, it's impossible to play on piano accordion. you can download the notes on the coupe homepage.you don't have to need the best technique. but it's really hard to put such feelings in this piece.

  • I have tried to play the first page and find it physically impossible to play the notes on the treble clef even at a slow speed. Its ok on a button accordion but NOT on a piano accordion. I have been playing the accordion for nearly 30 years so i do have some idea what i am talking about.Groetjes.

  • well it's possible to play that. i'm playing the accoridon for about 15 years and at the moment i am studying it in the Hohner-Konservatorium in Trossingen. Do you play a freebass accordion? greetz julez

  • No i don't play a freebass.I never thought about that!

With a freebass it would'nt be that difficult, but it still remains a hard piece to play for myself as i never followed music at university level.Thnaks for your comments, Tot ziens Tony !!!

  • yeah... that's it. this is a typical piece for freebass accoridon.nobody could play it with a standart bass accordion. so....

do you play button accordion or with keys`?

  • keys! I have a hohner atlantic iv de luxe, but i would like to get a Morino v,even better would be a PIGINI !!!First a big win on the lotto then new accordion ! What make do you play?

  • Really nice technic! Yes, a Pigini sirius bayan would be nice to have, but 25000$ it´s a lot of money. I hope also that i could win some pix soon.

  • kannst du erklären, was "test piece" bedeutet?

  • jawohl;) das stück was er da spielt war für alle seiner katagorie pflichtstück, d.h. alle mussten es spielen.
