Girl you have the best soul food menu items, I am doing the greens/smoked turkey for Thanksgiving, My husband don't know nothing about ox tails, but I was raised eating them, they are good and meaty, I might try to slip that dish in on him on a saturday, or sunday, with some cornbread muffins. No I have never ate oxtails, nor have I cooked them, but I always wanted to try them, I could never find anyone that would cook them which is a surprise to me because my family cook soul food all the time. Instead they cook neckbones and pigfeet instead. I am going to try this recipe.

@ccain68 YES I CAN EAT OXTAILS. i weaned myself off the fast slowly with juices, soups, oatmeal, grits and mashed potatos. i worked my way up slowly to thick foods. I only ate a few. My husband almost ate the whole pot. I mostly cooked them for him. He was soo happy I don't eat too much meat. You know men have to have meat and potatos.... Oh yeah and SEX!! hahahaha!! Love u.
