@Hittman305 Sir, that is absolutely asinine. The result would be identical to socialism: instead of equal prices and incomes, have prices indexed to income s.t. a person's standard of living wouldn't change appreciably when he earns a higher income? What incentive is there to earn a higher income? How do you ensure that goods' and services' respective price so indexed will reflected shifts in supply and demand, as well as shifts in the quantities so supplied and demanded? Infantile logic.
So according to you danimal9579 we should give a boost to the student who's cheating on his test to get straight A's and the jock who keeps getting D's and F's on his test but the teacher decides to change it just because he made the winning field goal against their heated rival.
This is what's wrong with America. These irresponsible young parents deserve no help, no bailout, nada. We need to teach that irresponsibility and bad decisions come with a price...a hard life...which means YOU have to work harder. You reap what you sow. life IS fair when you realize that you are your own self savior.
I was gonna visit this page and write something like that...but you did it for me. Thank you. I'm sick and tired of seeing this commercial asking me to give Jose a "boost." How about we give a "boost" to the straight A student? Or the kids that are involved with several clubs & sports instead of giving one to the kid that couldn't keep his pecker in his pants (and is suffering for it)?
Only 70% of students who begin high school graduate -only about 52% in larger cities. Students who dropout do not live as long and earn less than high school graduates - only qualifying for 12% of available jobs with earnings usually under $18,500 a year. They are more likely to be teen parents, commit crime (80% of prisoners are dropouts), and rely on government assistance.
We need to support our youth encouraging them to stay in school and earn their diplomas.
