How long does a bottle hold up after opening I wonder?

I think that the best is to shake whisky just before drink. Whisky is a gentle drink, you should drink it carefully, with respect. it looks very savage to shake whisky like a bottle of cola. I talk to Charles Maclean, he's a good man and a whisky guru, but i will never do thing like that.

@BozoTheBear Yeah it tests the body and strength of the whisky, distillery people do it all the time to show the differences between the different ages.
