The swimming is a little too fast... that guy must have the world's strongest legs!

Also, it'll be really cool if the developers make some specific animations for the characters when they're half-body into the water, fighting the currents to get to shore. That would obviously need some key attributes to water such as much decreased agility and poor aim.

I'm happy to see ArmA growing from a backstage development with a bland feel and very enthusiastic but narrow public, to a more involving and immersing game. You guys are even taking on the challenges of incorporating near-future military technologies, covert-ops, and rpg-based campaign, I couldn't be more excited. JUST PLEASE: have a whole team working on and testing the AI to refine it as much as possible, and try to use Euphoria physics instead of ragdolls, pleaaase!

The game looks great, but it's really the optimisation I hope they fixed. Arma 2 already had great graphics (lot of faults though aswell), but you'd need a NASA computer to run it.

@PivotPunk1 Oh come on. Face it, MW3 is a long interactive cinematic. Whenever you swim around in that game, there is only ever one destination, and only one way to do it. It is completely on rails. Meanwhile, ArmA, even if you are hell-bent on saying that it copied, attempts to add depth to it, and allow an open-world environment, utilizing swimming as a new tactical option. I'd like to see MW3 copy that.

The only problem with the uniform stealing is that it loses reality.

Think about it guys, if you shoot someone, their uniform is riddled with bullet-holes and blood spatters. Then when you steal this uniform, you will be wearing a uniform with blood and bullet-holes all over it.

In this particular case, the enemy would be a bit suspicious of you, considering that they watched their friend go out of the camp, and then later they watch you roll in with a very similar, but bloody uniform.

@RobertJoplin I'm not putting down the idea of uniform stealing. I know that in other cases (like if the enemy watched their friend go towards a battlezone) it would still retain its realism, but I'm saying that in this particular case, it does not seem realistic.

I only point this out because realism and simulation is the only thing that keeps ArmA special, as well as safe from competing with games like Call of Duty.

Otherwise, I have to say I love the idea.

Ok Im a HUGE Arma2 OA fan and this is downright stupid.

1) The enemy base doesnt go on alert while well within range of the sound of the gunfire.

2) The uniform change is ridiculous (its too quick, its a perfect fit, theres no blood on it)

3) The small unit of enemy guards just might recognize your face and the fact that you arent one of their buddies whose now breaking patrol orders by f-ing with a boat and taking a vehicle.

4) The water sound while running through it is crappy

@Gargantou what i think about that is if there was blood then the enemy would see it and attack you and since there is no knife or hand combat there really is no way to kill someone in arma and not leave some blood. So making the enemy detect blood would render the whole changing cloths feature useless.
