I spent all of 9/11 in Donovan's pub in Woodside, Queens. All day people were coming in and out. Many people were covered in dust and some were bloody. They had walked all the way from Manhattan into Queens trying to get home. As the sun went down I started playing nothing but Neil's songs on the jukebox. I could sense everyone felt better knowing we were all New Yorkers and we were all going to get through this. Neil's music really comforted everyone somehow. Thanks, Neil.

He's a cool guy. I grew up on 80s punk and I appreciate his entertainment. I read that he performed a few years ago while he was sick and refunded ticket money because he felt his performance wasn't 100%. There is no fan of music that can't appreciate that kind of entertainer.
