how many shingles are now laying in the neighbor's yard from wind gusts because he didnt nail in the double laminate? speed means nothng when you dont apply them correctly. wonder how fast he drove back to this house to repair the leaks the missing shingles caused?

This video should be sent to all the "accrediting" agencies and manufacturers listed at the end of the video so they can see how poor the work is. Unbelievable. Nails blown through, 4 nails in an 18" shingle? 7 nails in the shingle in the valley? WHY? The shingle above it is going to punch nails with the next course! Your worker is effectively installing an average of 14 nail holes in every shingle there AND in a really bad spot (a double valley that closes in on itself).

every one of this guys nails is an inch too high. he's more concerned with making the gun fire nails fast than he is trying to nail the shingles in the right spot. he sets his gun pressure for the nailing strip, then he nails an inch higher. what a fuckin tool
about 30 guys on here claim to be fastest...that means 29 are full of shit. this guy is fastest at blowing the nails through the shingle...maybe thats what he means
This roof would not pass inspection. The nails are too high. And it's a nail gun. those nails go up to 952 MPH and are usually over driven. I'll take a good hand nailer any day.

Show me your hand nailing speed and properly placed nail and then I would be impressed. Your missing the shim and if that doesn't blow off before long I would be amazed. I see this type of work so often and most guys get away with it because the tar lines seal well. And when they have finally let go the roofer is long gone.
@weeunc1 same shit in auto repair. the "artist" (not a REAL TECHNICIAN) "installs" a problem on a car / truck and a year or 6 months later you get: rattle, oil leak, check engine lite, or cross-threaded fastener failure. Stripped oil drain anyone? Same circus DIFFERENT CLOWNS. ;)

Man, If I were this company I would remove this destructive video before any potential customers see it. I see alot of " fast " roofers on here, and so far all I can see that they are fast at is getting the money and running.There is no quality in any of their work.I will have to post avideo showing how to install shingles , fast. accurate, and correctly.
