okay, sorry gang. mendeley script didn't work the first time. i uninstalled it and reinstalled it...and now it works. sorry for wasting the space here.
sorry to be so dense, but i cannot figure out how to find the mendeley plug in in microsoft word 2011 for mac. i see "document elements" and in there see "references", but there isn't anything that looks like mendeley in there. am i looking in the wrong place? i have confirmed that i have installed the plug in by looking at the scripts icon, and mendeley scripts are there, but how do i get them to work?
In my the majority of my work I reference my sources using a footnoting style (Chicago). Do I need to insert the footnotes manually with the word processor and then insert the reference, or will Mendeley automatically insert the footnote for me (like Endnote does)?
@roaringforties The citation plugin doesn't yet allow to do automatic footnotes but you can add citations wherever you want. However, you could add the same citation in two places without much issue.
How can i put something like this (Sinval, 2000 as cited in Pereira, 2011)?
Simplifying, my question is, how can i add prefix, suffix and pages in my citations?
Please help me, is a very important feature.

Great tutorials by the way!
