like 3000 hours of wokr dude ^^ there are 4 jet engines and even thats a lot of money already... equipment must be very expensive as well ... yeah, you need to spend assloads of time to get such a plane, too sad if it crashed ;)

depends on a lot of things... i think the major one is weight... if the models are really heavy they need to be tested by various bodies for safety rigidity etc etc... not sure wether u need a different licence... i think you need to get the model properly certified though.

lol i dont think u quite know the definition of scratch build... no you get the plans for the plane buy all the materials that you want to use, cut them all out... glue them together balance the plane... paint it... etc etc
