Well, being that they lost out to "Sandford and Son" back in the seventies, it is kind of like history repeating itself. Also, in between these two series, we have "The Brady Brides". Interestingly, all three of these series were on Friday Night. I have not idea what shows "The Brady Brides" was on opposite. Anyone remember?
My God what is scarier? The photo of Mike (Bobby) Lookinland grown up looking like a child molester or the reverse frame of Mike Brady looking at Bobby.

The Florence Henderson-sung version of The Bradys theme was only heard when the series (occasionally) was shown in syndication. This was originally going to be played over the opening credits during the short, original CBS run but the network got smart and wisely went with an instrumental theme instead. If Florence's version had remained, I'm afraid the ratings wouldn't have gone lower than they possibly could. Not that they were stellar in the first place - The Bradys was gone within a month.
