Heroes never recovered from that lame Season 1 Finale. And I'm amazed that Kring never explained what happened to Caitlyn from Season 2. She was stuck in a future that never happened, since the virus was stopped. It's not like his show was the only one affected by the writer's strike.

well thats kind of the trick if you havent watched the previous episode for when they do episodes like this which is often the you are likely to get confused but if you always watched the show then you'll get the hang of it you'll get the style they do alot of episodes like this going back in time or foward and etc i like when they do though you get to see each character in a new light like sylar being a dad is pretty cool i wish it would've actually happend though

I'm glad they didn't use this version. It's not as emotional or fast-paced as the one used in the actual episode. And Sylar's explosion was a lot better in the actual episode as well.

The only thing that's not clear to me right now, he's able to heal himself even if he dies, but in that episode, he was dead after exploding, right?

Does that mean he's capable of deactivating that ability off by will?

We never find out if Sylar lived or not. The "future" part of the episode doesn't really go much further than this scene.

Since this was a deleted scene they never finished it which is why they didn't get rid of the rope or finish most of the effects. As for the explosion. Perhaps he was just buried alive under all the debris of the city.

nobody confirmed him to have died after going nuclear.I'm pretty much sure he survived, like how Peter survived the same event when it happened to him by season 1

@hexkirn sylar cant die....& besides, one with nuclear powers wont die from their own explosions. ted didnt have healing powers yet he seems to survive his own combustion. even peter survived going nuke. the power is a part of them & probably wont hurt. anyway..whether that is the case or not..sylar has claire's power & cant die. they just didnt use his charcter more afterward, switcing back to claire & peter/peter.

radioactivity as a power. He stole it from Ted Sprague in Season 1. Peter got that power, too. When one of them were at a verry verry bad mood, it activates and is uncontrollable. So Sylar blew up, after is son was killed

.... but there is something I don´t understand in this episode. Bennet´s house was already completly destroyed and why would Sylar have their dog. Why is his sons name Noah. This makes me feel that probably Claire is his mom, not Elle. And also one lil thing in s01ep17 when is Clairs body completly burned, her long blond hair is undamaged. But hair are burning faster than skin or clothes!
