  • that's not how to rack 9-Ball, it's 1 on top, 9 in the middle, balls 2-8 random, cue behind the kitchen.

  • @azoldtime09 I was racking that way for consistency, no other reason. I tried to rack the same way in a group of my 9 ball vids. I actually broke from the same spot over 1000 times and recorded where the balls laid out each time. You would be surprised how much your learn. I got to where I could have my friends pick a ball in the rack and I would pocket it off the break about 4 out of 5 times. Very useful in league play. You are right, 1 on the spot, 9 in the middle, random the rest.

  • why do you wanna send 1 to side pocket? its not likely possible to keep whites position to 2.

  • @raissu to maintain control of the table after the break and keep the cue ball close to the center of the table for the best chance to follow up. Pro's use a similar break.

  • How big are those pockets? They look huge.

  • The pocket openings are actually smaller than normal. You can not fit two balls side by side in the pockets on my table. Normal tables you will be able to fit two in with room to spare. I have pocket reducers I use to practice with, it makes it almost impossible to make a ball, but excellent for accuracy.
