Lets compare what Jesus taught, what Christians believe and what Muslims believe. Jesus taught that God is one and never mentions a trinity. Jesus prayed by putting his face on the ground and he fasted for 40 days. Jesus called people to worship God and not himself. Not a single one of him disciples ever worshiped him as God. Jesus never says that you have to believe in him as son of God for salvation. Jesus says that he never speaks of his own will but by what God tells him.

The scriptures uses the word δοξα in Greek which means glory, honor, belief, pride, judgement. nothing about worship. Praise or worship is not there and in fact praise and worship have completely different roots in Greek.

I'm concerned with the true definition not what a christian writes in the concordance. but lets assume that you are right and the word means worship and praise. then if you were honest you would have to admit that Jacob and Job and other prophets are equally worthy of the same worship since the same word is used to apply to them as well.

GOD in HEBREW is ELOHIM PLURAL (Genesis 1:1) and read John 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) and add them together. What do you have John 1:1 God and the Word (Jesus) plus Genesis 1:2 Holy Spirit equals the FATHER, JESUS & THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is the ELOHIM in it's PLURALITY.

There is enough textual evidence from the ancient manuscripts that show that this prelude to the gospel of John was a later addition to the Bible.
