The last ps2 Madden game were you can actually return a punt for a TD!! '06 was the beginning of when punt returns for TD were almost impossible.

everbody do not listen to him this is the best madden ive ever seen played and owned due to its in depth franchise great roster and the tony bruno show was excellent it added a greater sense of storyline and the mini games were hours of fun this game holds so many gr8 memories from when i was a kid and it kills me to hear him trash this masterpiece plz take my word for it i am a real sports gamer and he doesnt know anything about sports games just look at his account name first person shooter

to kick a field goal of any type of punts or kicks you see that blue box thingy is you need to press x or a . then you press x again when you gets to the blue box press x again

You have to eliminate formation audibles because of the quicksand glitch... GAME is really good as long as you eliminate that... And this is not a rehash of Madden 2004 because 2005 had WAY better defense... Madden 2004 was all offense....

Madden 05 was probably the best because it's franchise mode was fucking awesome, The only flaw though was I would draft some good players and they would become NFL icons and sign top free agents but our record would stay like 8-8 (sim)

it looks fuzzy cause it was EA Sports' first year in using these graphics but i seen improvements all to madden 10 & 11 for ps2, and they did make these gmes for that specific console

You get Accuracy by pressing X when the meter is in the Accuracy box.

This is my favourite Madden!! The franchise mode is so detailed, I made it to year 28 & all the teams are suped up, u can export a draft class from NCAA Football '05 & use it as ur draft class during franchise mode. The franchise mode is so realistic that some of the teams even relocate to other cities cuz their team is bad & they're not selling tickets. Ur crazy for rating this a 5 & u can't kick for shit! Trust me, it's u not the game, I've never seen anyone else have a problem with that! Lol!
