Wasn't this cut singled off the Live at Dayton album? After Arthur Rice had left the group and was replaced by Tim Surratt? I ask because Arthur is featured in this video.
Jesus died on the Cross to saved a wretch like me. He holds my hand as I walk my journey for Him. He listens to all my woes and complaints and holds me like a baby when I need to cry. What a wonderful God we have! Gwen Weaver
The squeaky problem is this. The kingsmen were so good at maintaining a certain sound even when changing members, that even hardcore fans get the sounds confused. I was at several concerts, (I am a gospel DJ) and Jim DEFINATELY called Gary Squeaky. I know because I saw it in person. But that is a testimant to a good quartet,. When its hard to tell which member is singing. Thanks for posting this.
The Little Giant was Ernie's nickname. back in the late 70's & early 80's. Around the time that Stand Up Live was recorded, Gary Sheppard was known as Squeaky. I'm starting my own solo ministry, and I'm barely 5'2" like Ernie. So I call myself The Little Giant. LOL. Little Giant Ministries. :-)
Gerald Wolfe was the "Little Giant" , according to George Younce. (Yes, that was the Cathedrals.) Gary was "Squeaky" while he was with the Kingsmen. Actually, he never cared for that nickname, but Big Jim called him that anyway.
Don't know what they Called Gerald Wolf he was Never with the Kingsmen with the Kingsmen it was Gary Shephard Called Squeky & Ernie Phillips called The little Giant
Yes it was Gary Shephard that was called "squeaky". You can find this reference on the video "Live at Opryland". It was during Gary's introduction by Jim.
I Am The Bigest Kingsmen Fan there is & it was Gary Shephard that Jim Hamill Called Squeaky he called him that on the live at opryland album on Stand up Ernie was called the Little Giant

I am sure Jim Hamil called Gary Shephard 'Squeaky'. I think it was 'The Judgment' on VHS. I will rewatch it.
