@chaseherwic There's no cap on the level retard. Once you get EVERYTHING to 100 you can go to jail 50 times to lower your stats. I'd prove it to you but I had to get a new 360 HDD which caused me to lose my Oblivion saves and half the other saves for my games.

It HAS to be either enchanted, silver, or magic. Nothing else hurts them.

And the thing with lockpicking is to lock the tumblers in place when they rise up slower than usual. I have succesfully picked a very hard lock (lock level 99, used the console to make the lock) with just one pick and my skill was 5.

So to sum it up, you CAN pick locks with low skill pretty easily if you know the mechanics.

Mm I can't entirely believe you did a level 99 lock at level 5 skill level, the PC has a ton of tricks you can use to do that. Sorry :\

Skeleton key you can't get unless you're a level 15, or cheat on the PC, but I'm not using the PC so I couldn't have gotten it. Skeleton key is awesome.

Any enchantment on any weapon will do damage to them. My Umbra kills them quickly :)

I just had bad luck, when you get your first tumbler up then auto attempt it goes up within like 2 lockpicks, but this time it didn't..

Lockpicking tip: The secret to lockpicking is alot of patience. Let me explain, you'll notice that when you try to manually pick locks that the tumblers will sometimes go up slowly, THAT IS THE KEY! Keep pushing the tumbler up until it goes up slowly, then try to open it, 9 times out of 10 it will work.
