whatever version of this they were playing they did well, but that is SO not the original, i noticed a bunch of little things throughout it, and it shouldve been WAY faster.

Great! The conductor is reminding his musicians through descriptive conducting without a defined pulsating pattern; henceforth praying upon the talents of his musicians. However, he needs to pull his conducting pattern forward and away from his massive rectus abdominal, which would induce greater physical proportion between pattrern and physical kinetic motion.
