  • long live the Illuminati, Long live NWO ;-)

  • @AugerMartel I believe the footage is from the My Lai Massacre.

  • @TheOgley Thank you.

  • Are you implying Tony Blair is illuminati lol

  • The white beard man looks really like the Architect in Matrix.

  • So basically, Adam says "We need laws and regulations, so I'm going to put that power of regulation in the hands of the mother fucking Illuminati. Who I don't exactly trust." Yeah, no.

  • @Triforceformer Of all the systems WE ARE USING right now, dictature could be the best.

Now what you need is a good dictator, and I don't think it can exist in this system

  • @Triforceformer Nope.

  • Hollywood, you don;t need epic CGI to create strong emotions to the viewers; the closing door sound of a room where shadow governments take their decisions can paralyze our senses...

  • I chose this ending.

I truly believe augmentations are a double sided coin, used for good and the potential for evil Only with the Illuminati can the augmentations be regulated and controlled within certain boundaries, to create a world without war or violence and abuse towards human and technologies.

Imagine if this kind of force was put upon the weapons and terrorism in the world we have now. Would we be living in peace and prosperity? Who knows...but I certainly believe its possible.

  • maybe my fav of the 4 ending vids, but the ending is too... 'empty'...

  • Thumbs up if you didn't find Taggart and came here to watch the ending.

  • @UnrealPhantoka999 Lol yeah.

  • @RadimirWackytov it's not rational since it commits the golden mean fallacy and puts a trust in the illuminati that we know to be invalid. now you might call that retroactive hindsight bias, but Adam had enough data to conclude the Illuminati was a force for bad in the world anyway.

  • thumbs up if you chose this ending!

  • i thought this was the only practical ending. You can't destroy human augmentation entirely, but at the same time can't trust corporations with it. You should actually use it for people who need it. Damn I love this game. The ending, whichever one you took, was beautiful.

  • I just wish they wouldn't abuse the voice so much, it's not Cirque Du Soleil -.-

  • Simple slide show with narration has become one of the best endings in video game history. Congratulation Eidos Montreal...you just made history.

  • @BossPanzer QFT !

  • It starts with the people whom you oppressed like the '' Rats '' you've called them for 42 years. Quoting from a Libyan citizen, '' Gaddafi's is like a vampire, sucking dry the blood out of us, it is good news that he is gone. ''

  • Leftist douchebag T.Blair featured in this ending? So true...

  • @RadimirWackytov I agree!

  • I wish i could have done the Adam ending, WITHOUT the mass murder at the end. get everyone evac-ed, and blow up the damn thing. then go after Megan and break every bone in her body

  • @saygoodnightmanuel

Which will allow nothing to be resolved, Zhao is merely a piece in the Illuminati who you disposed of. Others will seek to take her place, and the broadcast still had to be stopped and it can only be done by spreading the message about augmentations. Adam leaves and the entire world gets a Dark Age.

  • @asaqe3 Adam cannot solve the world's problems, he is just one guy with no political leverage. his only assets are his fighting skills and enhancements. none of these can overturn the order of the world, but this seems to me like the most reasonable solution, which involves the least amount of unnecessary deaths.

  • Best game ending ever..

  • For people who don't understand, Sarif's ending: People are free to experiment with human evolution and get augmented. Darrow's ending: Augmentation is completly banned, assuring people grow up human. Taggart's ending: Augmentation has restrictions to it so it is not abused

  • @mikeythehampsta no,its not just that. This is what Taggart, Darrow and Sarif CLAIM their message means. But in reality, you know there will be more far reaching implications. Taggarts ending ensures that the Illuminati continue to exercise their control and that their people decide what the regulations are Darrows ending will mean rejection of augs for the wrong reasons (its not augs that are dangerous per se, its the people who abuse power) and Sarifs ending means supporting corporate interest

  • we need a new world order

  • god these endings were all legitimate choices. NOT ONE obviously good or bad choice. i think they were all kind of good in that they considered what was best for humanity. i had to seriously think. i ended up telling the truth though, i am definitley gonna play through this multiple times great game.

  • howcome 00:37 faces blurred

  • In the end who cares about Illuminati?

-MAJESTIC 12- IS WHERE IT'S AT BITCHESSS!

  • @tomkasto Destroy All Humans?

  • @sithmastur Deus Ex 1? Bob Page?

  • @tomkasto Oh sorry

  • @tomkasto Just to let you know, that Majestic 12 was created by the Illuminati ;)

  • @MrIlive4metal in the Deus Ex universe that is

  • @MrIlive4metal I know lol, i've played Deus Ex 1 (Original).

    Still Majestic 12 > Illuminati.

    Majestic 12 = NEW AND IMPROVED =)

  • @tomkasto You're gonna burn alright

  • I did the Sarif's ending.

  • This ending had the most dramatic effect in imo. It's ironic, Adam spent the game fighting the Illuminati only to submit to their will. Just like the Adam of biblical times fell to temptation. It should also be noted, Adam shares the first name of the historical founder of the Illuminati, Adam Weishaupt. Perhaps, we never hear from Adam in the other games because he joins the Illuminati.

  • This ending is the submition of oneself to '' The New World Order ''

  • Absolute freedom is better than chaos.

  • @TolHydra Absolute freedom is just as bad as chaos.

  • Worst ending.

  • This game is a conspiracy about the iluminatis! Ohh sshhhit!

  • Seriously I could have done these endings in twenty minuets with abobe. Deus Ex one in 2000 put more effort into its endings than Edios did in 2011. Oh yeah it was also twice as long.

  • @rjbonacolta

I can't say much about Deus Ex 1, I'm sure it was amazing, but these endings were very well thoughtout and very interesting, they made people actually think about their decisions for a long hard time, at least it did to me. You can make a picture slideshow in 20 minutes, but you'd never be able to make such an intelligent speech or use such intelligent reasoning (even this video has intelligent reasoning) in 20 minutes, it would take much longer.

  • @advancedlamb In Deus Ex 1 the endings were, a Second Dark Age, Giving Power back to the illumanati as ruler in the shadows and finally, merging with Ai as next step in evolution aswell a becoming a benovelent dictator (I chose)

The ending choices were fantastic when you though about them and to achieve them was hard. Yet the ending scenes weren't that great. HR did a better job I did the exact same thing you did, I had to choose for humanity or not choose at all, took a long time

  • @advancedlamb Well, maybe you should consider playing Deus Ex 1 now:)

  • @advancedlamb In the first Deus Ex you could talk to a super AI developed by illuminati scientists. It was incredibly interesting

    actually I just found it:

    /watch?v=1b-bijO3uEw

  • i dont give a damn who created all the endings, four of them are an AMAZING endings.good job eidos

  • All the endings are right in their own way, but my favorite is the self-destruct.

  • Honestly, if I were ina Deus Ex game I'd be Bill Taggart. I'd be the guy behind the scenes trying to bring the world into a brighter future of my design. Willing to do what it takes, even manipulate and lie to get it done... But in the game's playthrough I'm going to kill him. Wonder what that really says about me? XD

  • Such a strong message from this game. We've reached a point where games are so cinematic that Games >> Movies

  • The actor who plays ADAM JENSEN

    twitter/eliastoufexis

  • Is he implying we should support the NWO? Bah, ending for sheep.

  • I'm not sure why i chose this ending when i first played it, I guess i was taken in by the fact there should be rules on augments, or maybe i'm just a sucka.

Personaly though in that situation the augments should only be there to help people not to turn them into stronger machines than a normal human since it creates a power rift between normal people.

This game really rocked though and got me thinking, I'm playing it again the chances are if I were to do it i'd just blow the dam up.

  • I like how in the end, old white men walks into a brightly lit room, closes the door behind them, and leaves you in the dark. Just like the real life.

  • The sarif one was the second best I think, because that's the only way to evolve further than we already have. You should have like a group of people who are all hooked up to computers and shit researching stuff, then you should have the rest of the world being normal in my opinion. But the self destruct ending was the most epic in my opinion.

  • This is the worst ending...

We DONT need more rules and more regulations.

    What we NEED is freedom.

  • @SashaSexyfur But too much freedom can end p only hurting others, people killing, stealing, etc. There needs to be some regulations.

  • @SashaSexyfur complete freedom eh?Forgot what happened in London Riot?Every1 was overpowering the police and breaking the laws so retard kids started to take advantage of that by steal things from stores like PS3 and Xbox and many more stuff.Think before what you post.

  • @JCDenton112788 That isn't freedom thats vandalism , if you were free you werent going to be dependant on paying the bills to give you food, electricity , water .

  • @t0x1cliverpool oh...then what did you mean we NEED freedom?

  • @JCDenton112788 if we are free dont you think we will enjoy our life , help humanity improve itself and not think how to improve our lifes , countries , races?

  • @t0x1cliverpool yeah you are right but i find this impossible unless i shot all the political assholes in this world.

  • @JCDenton112788 eh all politics arent bad and you do know they arent controling us :]

  • @SashaSexyfur Way to miss the point, pal, one of the central themes of Deus Ex is unchecked corporate greed, rich people having too much influence over politics, etc.

  • one of the best game franchises ever designed and it leaves it open ended also for another installement!

  • >2027

    >Trusting in what the Illuminati say

I seriously hope you guys don't do this

  • essage.... because perfection, is not something that can be achieved...... but if anybody could ever get really really close to that... it was guys doidg thatgame..... and they were really reallly close

  • Comment removed

  • This one and the Darrows ending I agree with. Incredible game... a good story with morals.

  • @eduse1256 I like the one where he blows up the station and Darrows.

  • i think its weard a LOT of games these days have Extremely good story and allways has something to do with the Illuminati hmmm i was googling em other day reading up on them maby something will happen and games are hiding secret messages :O just maby games will save us all 1 day with all the knowledge =_= maby just maby

  • @MeatBix69 no...just....no

  • @Lolzer626

Remember, don't talk to crazy people. You only fuel there craziness more.

  • @arkraven123 well said ^^

  • @Lolzer626 maby...just...maby the Illuminati is in control of everything who u think runs the government they cover up all the original moon landings and government keeps bullshitting about alians not being real i my self have seen UFO's atleast 5 times in my life so far reaching speeds no human aircraft could do some research into the stuff u might understand were im coming from i dont believe Humans are the only thing out there what makes us so special compared to the galaxy

  • The problem with this ending is the last thing he says: "I just hope they stand by what they say..." meaning what if they're corrupt? Like bob page and Morgan Everett? This ending would be perfect. But we know that people like Morgan and Bob exist in the Illuminati already. So I can't support this ending.

  • It's just supporting the Illuminati, nothing more...

  • Your freedom ends where others freedom starts.

  • Who else punched bill in the face after meeting him?

  • @monkezballs hehe, i shocked that faggot...

  • @monkezballs i typhoon-ed bill then shanked sarrif he never actually paid me for the work i did lol

  • i didn't like bill taggart so after i talked to him at panchea i punched him

  • "Hes afraid to the chaos that erupts when individuals have nothing but morality to constrain them." and "Absolute freedom is no better than chaos." OMG! these two quotes speak volumes.

  • @dfunkers It took me away aswell haha!

  • So basically, restrain augmentations for normal people, so that our leader can use them on others? Basically the point of this video if that the technology can exist, but limited to population. I BELIVE THAT POINT. Now if government have that technology, do u people belive they wont study it? Other government will not? OK, they will, but for what point? What else? If not to improve lives... maybe to destroy them. because those are the Illuminati, our new world order a.k.a a dictatorship..

  • @Paperkut16

That's the point, it is the only way humanity can hope to preserve a delicate line between total abandonment of progress or to embrace it completely, without any sort of ethics. For every David Sarif there is ten Zhao Yun Rus out there hoping to gain the fruits of progress.

  • it's weird, when i first saw the character adam jensen in previews, i just thought who is this spiky haired idiot who clearly has no personality. but i think i actually prefer him more to jc now...

  • When I did all three endings, this one was probably the most rational one.

  • @Postaldewd 4 endings

  • @billytamer

    Yep, my mistake.

  • Could someone explain what this ending means, what it shows? Because I've just beaten this game and I didn't have this choice and now I don't understand this ending?

  • @TheMushrumable it shows THIS. this is the ending

  • @billytamer Lol

  • @TheMushrumable werd

  • The endings are beautiful and even insightful, I've found. But from a game perspective, they are stupid. In Deus Ex 1, the endings were actual, tangible actions which made you the great usher of the New World Order. In this game, you just choose which arbitrary ideology and accompanying false news story to throw your weight behind. There is absolutely no guarantee that the story will produce the outcome promised. Abandon all science & tech just because Darrow says so on TV? That's silly.

  • Tony Blair was a cunt

  • Taggart I mean.

  • Darrow isn't that bad a guy, speaking to him he's miles ahead of Morgan Everrett or Zhao Yun Ru or, god knows, Bob Page. Still despite agreeing with him I was well aware that I'm also agreeing with them, and Morgan and Bob are way further up the leadership chain.

  • Never trust a politician.

  • I hate this ending. Jensen just seems like a pretentious ass validating his behavior by praising morality, but casting it aside at the same time.

  • Its crazy because even this video game is showing stuff about Illuminati or however you spell it. So I say again, Where is Dexter when you need him? AAAaaaand tell me what you want what you really really want

  • thumbs up if you quick saved before pressing the buttons so you can view each ending in game!

  • @Nightwisher87

I gave your comment a thumbs down just because you begged for a thumbs up.

  • @Dreadmantisthe2nd ill give you one of my thumbs up up your arse

  • 'If there as wise as Taggart says, how bad will their leadership be?'

    *Shows picture of Tony Blair*

    Bad example Eidos. Bad example.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind Tony Blair is a Illuminati? xD

  • @FalconRS Well he's a knob end at least!

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind Bad example as in he was a good leader or bad as in well, bad example of a good leader? xD I saw the picture of Blair(didn't know it was him) as an answer to "how bad can it be?" :o

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind Bad example as in he was a good leader or bad as in well, bad example of a good leader? xD I saw the picture of Blair(didn't know it was him) as an answer to "how bad can it be?" :o

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind

Maybe it was meant as a counter example of "look how things get when we're not involved". That's why I love montages, you get to dissect them and find out hidden meanings. :D

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind why are you complaining when most of the pictures are of America? if i said wow bad example Eidos of using America i would get ran up one side and down another. its their statement, if you dont like it fine your opinion like the game is voicing theirs get use to it.

  • @Ogrover08 Tony Blair is a dickhead. That's why! (I'm English you know)

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind i figured you were. and thats why they put his pic at that part. most of you think he is a dick. bad leadership. there you go you solved your own problem.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind At the moment jensen said that it had nothing to do with the image of tony blair, unless you wanted to be.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind I think what really happened is this:

"if there as wise as Taggart says (photo of Tony Blair), how bad will their leadership be (Obama's inauguration ceremony).

Justtttttt sayin, that's what it looks like.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind i think thats the point thats the one where the illunati wins completly

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind

I believe what eidos is saying that tony blair's an illuminati!

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind I think they were being sarcastic, afterall towards the ending they show corporations and government going hand in hand, ie. being corrupt.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind I don't know much about Tony, but why was it a bad example?

  • @Tarik360 He ruined this country.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind How did he ruin it?

  • @Tarik360 Let immigration go unchecked, fucked up the schools and NHS, crapped on civil rights by going to Iraq, created a generation of layabouts and did it all with a shit eating grin on his face.

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind

Is it fair to blame just Blair for where we are now? Has any of our prime ministers in the most recent decades done anything that hasnt worked towards that outcome? It's not a matter of one man, or even one party. I only see incompetence in all of our politicians, none of them seem to much care about it all, and their narrow sighted actions only make it worse. Our government has failed utterly at governing, and I cant see it improving anytime soon.

  • <3 Bernanke at the end

  • ''And I hope they'll stand by what they say'' Not really....

  • Absolute freedom is chaos. But absolute order is slavery. Go to hell with your laws and order, Illuminati!

  • seriously iz this trying to a good view of illuminati they want complete control of life on earth a modern day Egypt enslaving through propaganda and fear and the sheep follow blind....

  • Comment removed

  • @hot1cold0 it's not THE illuminati per se. it's just a nameless conspiracy that occasionally uses that name among other names.

plus, this isn't blind following in this ending, because you are fully ware of what they are up to and by choosing this ending you have willingly assisted their goals because you agree with them.

plus, you can choose to completely topple them, defy them, or even do nothing at all to affect anyone in the end. this was one of 4 different endings depending on a choice.

  • powerfull images in all the endings

  • Simply the best ending though they all fit the canon.

  • Thumbs up for illuminati

  • This game is awesome because there is no bad/good ending. I personally agree with all of them. And this endings show us that the eprfection is impossible. You can't create a perfect society. An utopia.

  • I have to say that among the endings, I ended up agreeing with this one the most.

it is strange how in the end, I helped the Illuminati willingly. the conspiracy that I feared became my volition, and what I felt was my enemy, finally had me in the end. after all that, I had the ability to make the whole system tumble, perhaps even literally, and yet I chose to support them anyway.

no mind control or trickery. the game simply convinced me.

that is awesome that a game can do that.

  • Very good endings i just wish that the video in the endings where more different than the others.

  • this was the only ending i didn't unlock!

  • Not satanic.

  • Even if I would have liked to see more of how everything played out afterwards, I have to say these endings were all so frigin good, all of them having some good in them yet showing the darker side too.

  • Why is it that people think the Illuminati are satanic?

  • @vaultboy4561 Dont know, retards i guess

  • I think.. That game should get Nobel for these endings..

It's just beautiful.. No like other nosense butchergames..

    I hope people willl understand..

Peace! Big thanks for people who make Deus Ex!

  • @adamigo50 You know what...yeah.those endings explains and makes us realize things but..i think Deus EX explains more than that.

  • ff7 taught this in a more unique manner

all the information we perceive are telling something...

    we must act.

    killuminati.isgreat.org

  • I actually think that this is the true ending as no one has weapons in their augments, or ones that vastly improve a person capabilities, in the 1st game openly, except the military. And people only have replacement limb augments, from what I could tell in the first game anyway. But they might go with a Deus ex 2 thing, where they combine all the endings into one.

  • @MajorShepard

I doubt they would. Invsible war setting was really messed up because of it. Taggerts ending seems like it's canon because in Dx1 it is regulated.

  • @tengomarco75 It's possible but what about sarif and all those i know this is made LONG LONG after the first one and can be impossible to change in the first one but you would think atleast any of the endings connect to the first game sarifs ending just leaves augmentation open to research and use and what not possibly breeding alot of shit that isnt in the first game, The endings feel kinda unconnected to the first game i cant seem to find any canon ending really

  • @killerguythefox the sacrifice ending seems to be the correct one. It leaves a blank slate for the Illuminati to attempt to have some control. Augmentation tech to continue to grow, but not necessarily as fervently.

  • @MintyHippo30 Still leaves a hole my friend the biochips without sarif and what not to remove the control

thing the illuminati put in them they would be able to use it so still unconnected in a way :/

  • @killerguythefox biochips without sarif means nothing. He doesn't control the tech he just had the intial design. The illuminati already have control and no ending would change that except maybe the Darrow one. The Darrow one is just silly honestly.

  • @MintyHippo30 You sure cause anyone with the new biochips would be effected if the illuminati decided to use that and that is above millions of people, You should know that alot of people not just some had the new biochips i dont see how they are magically gone if you pick the i die and anyone else at the place so no one knows anything ending

  • @killerguythefox The way I see it based on Deus Ex's plot is that the Illuminati is greater than Jenson. He doesn't have the power to stop its progress, but he does have the ability to leave decisions more so up to humanity.

  • @MintyHippo30 None of the endings are the "correct" or "good" one. You failed to miss the point I'm afraid.

  • @DieKao It depends what you mean by "good" Morally good implies the self-sacrifice ending. What was your point? Obviously Square Enix is going to regard one of these as cannon or cheese the endings like they usually do.

  • @MintyHippo30 The point is, it's not about what ending is "the right one". It's about what ending YOU choose. It's about that moment after Eliza explains everything and you stand there having to make that choice. That is the beauty of Deus Ex HR's ending. The clips lend themselves very well to debate about what to do with technology etc. But it really is all about the choice at the end and the build up to it. At least for me, that's why it has such an impact.

  • @MajorShepard

Good point, but I feel that the Darrow ending is canon, because it scares everyone away from augmentation technology, which is why you don't see civilians with them in the original.

  • @MajorShepard Yes but the Illuminati will make their grip around the World even tighter. Placing hopes into people who try to manipulate others from the shadows so they can lead humanity on the right path. No thank you but I won't let an organization who is keeping themselves secret from the World be it's saviors.

  • @bojo0noja ah but the Illuminati (spoilers) is broken up thanks to Bob page so it doesn't really matter if this was the true ending.

  • @MajorShepard Exactly and SPOILERS!!! Adam survives in the upcoming DLC so we can count that ending outa as well.

  • @bojo0noja do you mean 'The missing link" one? (Spolier) I thought that was based during the parts when he disappered for 3 days when he got into that container to get to where Megan was being kept?

  • @MajorShepard Ah yes you're right...sorry my bad ^^
