Yes this was considered cheap and lurid at the time but it sure is fun to watch now. Too bad it wasn't in color, in 1964 that should have been an indication it was a cheap production.

This movie was so bad it became a cult classic... It was her first dramatic attempt after Bye Bye Birdie and Viva Las Vegas and nearly killed her career . The dialogue in this film is so corny you have to laugh but hey - she came a long way- Bus rileys back in town was another atempt but it was Carnal Knowledge that catapulted her dramatic career. Las Vegas was another huge platform for her as well as all of those great tv movies and mini series. What an incredible talent. Loved watching her !
