  • @fatpeoplelikecake Yeah, it was on Viking Road. I've since moved back to the west coast.

  • NEWFOUNDLAND DRIVE BRO?

  • @WingLee51 No, over by the Avalon mall.

  • you have the nicest hair do ive ever seen.

  • @peanutbuttersticky Thanks. I've since had it shaved (not all the way) though. More of a brush cut look now.

  • hahahaha!!!ya i dont miss that at all im in niagara falls ont.... now ... been away from home sence i was a 9 yr old girl now im 20.... miss my fam tho....

  • remember the snow we had in 2002!!!!! it was MASSIVE. Half way up the phone poles!!! I couldnt see out my windows til june!!lol

  • I remember 15 years ago when I lived there it used to reach almost to the top of the telephone poles we used to have to call for help to get dug out winter in Ontario just ain't the same these mainlanders complain about a foot or so.

  • Wha is the average annual snowfall in St. John's?

  • Neighborhood looks exactly like my old neighborhood with Splt level ranch homes in Randolph Mass after a snowstorm minus a bit less snow.

  • Thank God it aint like it here this year hey!!!lol

  • go to the north of quebec...you'll see!!

  • Something tells me we wont get it dumped upon us until Jan and Feb. We have had some minimal snow fall here and there... but nothing shovel worthy. If it doesn't come now, it'll get here later, and it wont be fun!

  • wow i havent been home for a while and thats alot of snow ...i miss it soo bad ....hope next year wont be soo bad lol ...to give you a brake from all that ...

  • where i live we get snow in late november/ early december, and it leaves either march of early april . right now, it is May 7/08 and there is still snow left in the woods and the mountain stuff. but the mountains are full of snow all year round.

  • thanks for making me feel better living in wisconsin..we got 70 some inches so far, most of it melted, so we got a foot now. i dont think i would want 6 feet plus of snow haha

  • I think that was the year that St. John's had a record breaking snowfall.

A total of 13 feet of snow fell that winter.

  • whoa thats like 6 ft of snow??????

i live in Wisconsin and there is only a foot of snow

  • Dude, How do you live with all that Snow? Also, how long will that snow stay?

  • It ain't easy. This year the snow started in early December and we'll probably be up to our ears in it until at least mid-March. It gets so bad some years that the city has to use dump trucks to take some of the snow and dump it in the harbour because there is nowhere left to pile it on the side of the road or on people's lawns.

  • Do you ski or snowboard? What can you do with all that snow around? It must get boring after awhile.

  • I spend most of my time shovelling it out of the driveway, LOL. Not really much else to do with it in the city but on the west coast or in central Newfoundland where there is more open space people tend to spend a lot of time driving on ski-doos or going out to ski.

  • @CRM2006 haha i live on the corner of cashin and i sit in the window and watch the cars and busses slide down the street xD one time it slid onto the sidewalk into the neighbours stair by the side walk, but there is always snow dec.8 just for my b day

  • Hey, at first I thought it was Labrador City, NL......WOW, didn't know you got big snow like us.

  • newfoundland rocks! except for wibters..

  • how beautiful! thanks for sharing.
