Some people might say Courtney can't "sing," but has she really ever tried to fucking sing? What I love about her is that NOBODY else I've ever heard sounds like her. I can't even imagine someone covering one of her songs because of how unique her growls, moans and screams are. She makes ugly into a twisted form of music and I love her for it.
This isn't exactly what you'd call life-affirming music, but it still feels fucking GREAT when you're in the right mood for it.
