Lol right ive cracked the waterfall, no random log jumping needed. When you are on the logs in the middle of the waterfall, if you jump sdtaright up you will just be able to land on the log above, then quickly jump to a lo0g in the side, to miss out the next middle log, then jump back to the middle and repeat process until the top (lol i was panicking when i got near the top, so theres no way i even tried to get that extra life)

there wasn't really an unfriendly gorilla in the story and esp when pumba and timone were present and also this level ought to have had timone and pumba joining in (and also nala wasn't in the game at all :S)

@MsOneTopCat It's actually hard... But once you figure the waterfall pattern, and have enough life for the boss... It becomes a real joke.

@cibida1 The logs are easy once you figure one thing out: The logs in the middle, one time out of two, you can make a straight-up jump. Makes it all WAY easier.

Hands down the hardest level in the game (with the Ostrich level being second). As a kid I could NEVER pass this stage. Just ate all my lives. And to make matters worse I knew it was the level right before becoming an adult since the adult Simba was shown on the cover, the back of the box and as a kid who watched and loved the Lion King it was obvious that after that level he would grow up. So glad I finally got my revenge on this game by beating it so many years later.

Still, on hard difficulty. lvl 3 and lvl 8 are the hardest to me, especially because anything takes 3 hits to kill and because you die in about 4 hits...

Try looking up for Snes9x, it's the best one.

Also, game files are called "snes roms", so type "lion king snes rom" and you should get what you want

Then open Snes9x, click "file" and chose "open". browse and select your rom. You can also drag the rom over the emulator icon.

Select your input setting in the top bar, and you're ready to play!

Snes9x?? I have a game "super nintendo" that is a collection of all nintendo games like this one, all in a single program (I have Lion King game from here) and u choose to play them from a list( there are over 100 games, from A to Z in alphabetical order). Well at the bottom u gave 2 buttons and on one of them is written SNES9X and on the other SNES. The first looks like it is pressed. Think that this means I have the emulator installed with this program( incorporated )how do I save games??

it's impossible to save with "the lion king", even with a real SNES. It's a 1-shot arcade.

However, you have something in the top menu. "save/load position" or "save/load state". It will keep memory of your current position in the game. Like jump and click on save state when Simba is in mid air, and load it again later, you'll continue in mid air, as if you never stopped playing. particulary stupid gaming since you can use it before attempting anything risky, thus making a joke of any game.

OK. There is no saving stuff on this game. The story mode is too short, and you don't even have a score system.
