When you visit we'll take a ride to the lake! :) Yes... he really is a ham! I was told those were geese, btw. I called them ducks, too. LOL! And dude, seriously... thanks to Cesar Millan I've been working with the dogs and they're doing great!

LOL... I actually added a record scratch when Gracie squatted but for some reason when it rendered it didn't capture the audio. Odd. Still worked! LOL!

I'm not sure, but I think I spend more than half my time outdoors. My work is such that it happens frequently. The sun really does produce energy we wouldn't find anywhere else.

This was a great video. It was nice to be introduced to Alexander, Gracie, and Sienna.

When I was a kid I had a sheep dog that loved the water. I'm sure he would have found a way to get to it.

Ironic ain't it. Dogs not allowed in the swimming area, but geese are there pollutting the water. Solution... more dogs to chase the geese away. Prime example of not fully thinking rules through.

Great lighting for your outdoor filming, gives you a warm, healthy glow. Alexander looks like an awesome kid, at a real fun age.

Not airheaded at all; ducks, geese, and swans are all part of the same family, so says wikipedia. I had to look up the difference between a duck and a goose. My sister has a lake in her backyard and it gets frequented by Canadian Geese and swans. The swans can be nasty as they thinkg they own the lake. That all changes when my sister lets her 110 pound Rottweiler and her rambunctious Dalmatian loose in the yard! The latter like to swim in the lake.................as do the occasional bears!

It's a section of New Jersey where the suburbs begin to blend into a nearby wooded urban area. The street she lives on is only 200 feet long! It comes off a County Highway and is separated by the lake, which I think is man made. It continues on the other side and there is no bridge. The bear swam across the lake and was seen in backyards is sis's side of the road. She didn't know till the cops showed up-with drawn guns-and they told her to take herself and her two kids back into the house!

The lake is nice BTW. There is a nearby Interstate Highway that can give off the constant sounds of vehicles but it's nice. In the Winter, when the lake freezes, my sister says that the ice makes loud craking sounds!

I had a dog that looked a lot like your lighter one. He couldn't swim at all but he loved to try. We always had to stay in the shallow or we would have to rescue him when the water would get over his head.

Couldn't swim... aww! If it was a Golden Retriever their feet are slightly "webbed" between the toes for swimming. :) The black dog doesn't care to swim. She just stays in the shallow end. LOL!

Yes, the format is saved as an HD Widescreen WMV file. :) Why do you ask?

Because YouTube doesn't like WMV very much and the image becomes distorted. I try to use MP4 or AVI where possible because they are higher quality.. The problem is the size restriction with AVI videos.

I could tell that you saved this one in a different format to the ones you normally shoot inside. (Or am I wrong here?).
