  • I like how in most cultures, the bladder or stomach will do... but in Macedonia you use the whole fecking sheep!! Fair play to ye!

  • @Dagvalda

hahahaa ahahahah ahaaaah no wastage buddy :))

On the males we do keep the penis tied up and remove the scrotum :)))

  • traditional Macedonian ( gajda )

but yes the bag is one huge thing is'nt it ?? :))

    its sheep skin

compared to what you play it is a very old instrument

I MAY AS WELL BE PLAYING A COW IT'S THAT BIG HAHA AHHA

  • what is that?

  • Yech... I'm sorry, but after playing the Scottish bagpipes for many years, this sounds kinda...weird. Decent playing, though.

  • thats cool man , i'm just assing arround on this one as it was quite big as you see and dam hard to hold..

nevcertheless you obviously know that the Scots are part of the Macedonians,, that is going back thousands of years before your peoepl when to the anglo side of the world ...

In Macedonia you will finds lost of artifacts that the celts have nowdays to be the same ..

i have Scotish & Welsh friends that belive there pipes are to advanced to be called primative such as the Macedonians

  • thanks for your introduction

your clarinet must sound fantastic through thoes head phones ,

but it obviously it wo'nt prevent from others hearing you :))

Those electric claros might do the trick , but i have never given them a go ...

  • Romanians made bagpipes from goat skin! This macedonian bagpipe are very similary with romanian bagpipe! The only difference are sounds!!!

I'm the fan of the bagpipes from Romania,Scotland,Bulgaria and Macedonia!

  • Is that... a pigs skin?

  • this one is sheep skin dude.

you eat pig skin you do'nt waste pig skin on a bagpipe, you know it's the best meat that there is besides Goat.

Goat is another you can make a bagpipe from, as it is Furry

  • @JANDAR69 used to they used to make bagpipes from pig stomachs.god i bet they sounded awful.

  • @BoomhaurReplica7

you got to be jokeing .

Bagpipe out of pig stomache ???

I do'nt think that will work at all , hahahahaha

  • @JANDAR69 no joke man.i learned that back in my last year of high school when we was studying about scottish history.it was either pig stomach or sheep stomach.of course sheep stomach is also a delicacy over there.i think its called "Haggis".but thats another topic.lol.

  • @BoomhaurReplica7 Your history teacher didn't know jack about bagpipes my son. I have 5 sets of pipes and there's not an animal stomach between them. They have bags made out of cowhide. As for haggis, it's not the stomach that's the "delicacy". It's the mix of minced liver, barley and spices cooked inside the stomach. Tastes horrible.

  • hahahaha Masterfully, thanks very much

    on your compliment .

I need lots more time with the bagpipe rather than all the other instruments I play .

  • Well assuming that you're not Macedonian, that is.

  • I am Macedonian dude

  • That explains it, then. =)

  • @JANDAR69 its serbian lol.

  • @JANDAR69 YOU ARE FROM MACEDONIA.......THATS GREECE RIGHT?...OH MAN I LOVE GREECE

  • @TheMEGARIAN

what a pathetic try you pontian hahha hahahah

    gypsy of greece :))

    go away you fool

  • I take it that you made this yourself, that is so cool.

Thank-you for posting. You learn something new

every day. I have a pretty good idea what the

mouth piece and flute-ish parts are for but what is

the part on you right shoulder for?

  • Its the drone it makes a deep single constant tone.

you can hear it in the clip

  • on the right shoulder is the DRONE

it plys the low constant spoun you hear on this clip

  • oh my god! your playing a goat!! lol sounds good though

  • hahaahhah well actually this one was a sheep. next one will be a Goat.

Traditional bagpipes bro , prior to the Scotish & Irish more technically created bagpipes of today.

  • Is that an animal skin/carcass attached to a flute? Pretty ingenius...

  • love it, macedonia the great

  • normalno deka ima mnogu vidovi na gajdi

  • Abe za site da mozat da razberat i taka povekjeto e na angliski

  • He skinned a goat. Poor thing.

  • is that a tulum?

  • no. tulum is turkish and doesn't have a drone. this is a gaida. it is played in bulgaria and macedonia

  • all over in the Balkan

  • Nope, this is Kaba Gaida. These onese are played only in Macedonia and Bulgaria.

There are other tipes of bagpipes all over the Balkan but with different configuration and normally, a different name.

  • piši na makedonski sto se furaš vo film

  • It is acyually played all OVER the blakans.... but it is mostly played in the mountainous regiouns of the Balkans mountains.... hence MC and BL play it the most... I am ALbanian and I play the gajda as well... But only we from the hihglands mostly play it.

  • Bravo!

    Greetings from Macedonia

  • I love the bagpipe. Great playing, keep up the good work

  • Aye - i know you !!!!

YOu used to play clarinet with that sexy guy John Civiovski and his brother Robert with that dida Tony Grbe in the band FANTASIA

    Keep up the good performance

  • I've seen Kostadin Varimezov working and working a new skin, I'm pretty sure it was Nivea cream (yes!) that he was rubbing into it, to soften it.

  • Thanks very much for your help :))

  • actually.. scrap my other comment on the risto video.. can you teach me dude? I've had this thing sitting in my cupboard and I can't figure it out on my own

  • easiest thing to do is just to listen to music, have someone teach you how to tune it...and play without the drone for a while, then make sure you keep your fingers really close

the longer you keep at it the better you'll get

  • it would be good if the skin was more flexable as it's quite uncomfertable to play

  • i saw Risto going hell for leather flexing the skin around the stocks on a new bag to get it right ;) he was so rough on it you would think it would set it up for leaks later on... but he should know...

  • this is not risto's bagpipe, no leeks in it it's just a thick skin thats needs to be broken in order to expaned much better
