  • First off the whole "don't use menthol" arguement does not wash. Menthol "may" irritate some people's skin, but most ANY product has a chance of doing that. The ZZ cream contains Sulpher and Zinc Oxide. Two ingredients which have been recommended and perscribed by derms for acne and rosacea.

Second, while sun protection is important, most sun-screens are NOT created with rosaceans in mind and can irritate your condition more, like you claimed menthol does.

  • Is this guy for real??? The LAST thing you want to put on your face is menthol!!! That burning sensation you get in your eyes after putting the mint-menthol cream is not cooling... it's irritation!! Mint and menthol are both well-known skin irritants. Secondly, you absolutely do not want to use any type of soap on your skin. Use only very mild gel or creamy cleansers and then a moisturizer. Why is there absolutely no mention of sun protection when the sun is EXTREMELY damaging to rosacea skin?

  • I'd really like to read your entire book, but right now I'm living in South America,Paraguay to be more specific and I don't know how to get it

  • Send me a private email in my youtube accoount

  • hi! This is very interesting. I wanted to ask, what do you exactly mean by changing your life style at the end? I mean, were you just referring to the diet and all the previous recomendations?or is there something else? I've been wanting to go to the gym,but since the heat, sweating and getting hot seem to be a trigger for my rosacea I've pospone it. what do you think about that?can the work out really make it worst? I would really want to know.thank you

  • In my chapter about lifestyle, it is chiefly diet but I also mention reducing stress in your life.

  • Are you a dermatologist?

  • Absolutely not. I am a rosacea sufferer. I used to be an EMT but I doubt if that will even get me a cup of coffee. I simply have written a book about what a rosacean should know about rosacea, basic rosacea 101, and offer a few suggestions from what I have learned.

  • I need a skin care regime for a woman, like what to use for removing make up, rosacea proof anti-aging products, etc.

  • Read Chapter 21 in my book, Rosacea 101, which goes into some suggestions on the use of cosmetics.

  • i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS ZENMED FOR ROSACEA ANY GOOD i CHECKED YOUR WEBISTE AND THERE WAS A LINK TO ZENMED, WOULD YOU RECOMEND IT AND IF NOW WHICH PRODUCT WOULD YOU RECOMEND AS I LIKE IN THE UK ITS HARD TO FIND PODUCTS SOMETIMES THANK YOU VERY MUCH YOUR VIDEOS ARE OF GREAT HELP IM PLANNING TO BUY THE BOOK AS IT APPEARS TO HAVE BRILLIANT REVIWS

    THANKS

  • Well all I can say is ITS GONE!. After doing this once in the morning for 2 days, the Rosacea vanished and I didn't feel any itching after 24 hours, but I did it again in the morning just to make sure. So I don't know if it is a combination of vitamins, minerals and the anti dandruff formula used by head and shoulders(says pyrithione zinc on the bottle) or maybe It was just the dandruff shampoo. I would be very interested to know if the shampoo works for anyone else.

  • Thanks for posting your experience. As you say, Cortisone is not good for rosacea for long term use and I have a video discussing Steroid Induced Rosacea and a chapter in my book about it.

  • Well I've been washing my face with the same anti-dandruff shampoo ever since and the red itchy skin never comes back. I am convinced that I was misdiagnosed and that I actually have Sebhorric Dermatitis; a severe form of dandruff that effects the face in nearly an identical manner as rosacea.

  • It is not uncommon for rosacea to be misdiagnosed. I discuss this in my youtube video, 'Rosacea Mimics,' and also in my book with the same chapter name. Glad you figured it out and have your skin under control.

  • Bustasnipe,

Yeah that sounds like SD. Rosacea is not itchy. Some people actually have both.

Something like nizoral cream should be safe for your face as this is not a cortisone cream.

  • you could actually have rosacea and sebhorric dermatitis. my dermatologist informed me that its very commen to have these both together ...unfortunately for me!!! flakey skin around the nose, hair and brow and also redness and itching...

  • It prevented the Rosacea from spreading and drastically lowered the redness, however it would only hold out for roughly 10 hours before my skin would begin to get itchy and I could feel the Rosacea coming back and besides Cortisone causes long term side effects. I recently got dandruff shampoo(head and shoulders) and figured I would try putting some on a hot cloth with my minerals(also contains vitamins) and work it into my skin with lots of pressure.

  • I was diagnosed with Rosacea and perscribed Cortisone cream 5 years ago which I used for almost 3 years. I was introduced to a natural mineral solution which is basically a mixture of all the minerals you would find in a natural healing spa in europe, but with higher concentration. This effectively did what the Cortisone did only better.

  • @bustasnipe Hello, i was wondering what is the name of the "natural mineral solution" that helped you with rosacea? and where/how can i get it?

  • @yellowbluegreen1111

    Zosso - google zosso

  • I have gotten the book and read it through and it is a book I can highly recommend! I am currently following Brady's diet and my rosacea is almost completely gone after 2 weeks. I am fairly young so I guess my skin can regenerate at a much higher pace but without this diet and the information in your book Brady, this would not have been possible.

I thank you and wish you the best of luck in the future.

  • Thanks. I am happy for you and when I receive comments like this it makes my heart glad.

  • Hi Brady! My name is Daniel and I live in Sweden, I am 25 years old. I have suffered from Rosacea since I was a teenager and it has effected my life a lot. I saw your vids and thought you hade a lot of good advice and this made me buy your book. I am looking forward to read it.

  • Thanks. I look forward to your review of the book.

  • Bought the ebook version today but am having a hard time finding Xin Fumanling Cream (with metro) online. I found one page but the purchase link was dead.

  • The links are active now. Sorry for the problem. Try again.

  • i don't know whether this is in your book but my doc prescribed it after my ipl treatment. it is a mixed gel consisting of erythrocin 2,5, ultrabas 10,0 , ultrasicc 40,0 and aqua purific. ad 100,00

it really decreases the redness ,

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • Great work Brady. I saw a huge improvement with my rosacea when I added pgx fibre supplement before every meal. When I run out of pgx I fall back on pysillium husks.

  • Thanks for the report. Glad it works for you.
