How was the current was there any issues for you and was it generally safe when you went in June? Also I notice you were at the far end of the rapids (which I haven't done since I was a clearly fearless child...) is there any large rocks hidden to be aware of?
@aliciamarietowns The river bottom is a shelf of smooth rock about three feet deep. There are rocks about 15-20 feet out from the base of the last rapid. Don't worry about current. The river is too shallow here for that. Never fight the flow. Always flow left / right within the current. Have a good time!
Hey there I love the video, I've been going there since I was a kid. My friends and I are actually going there this weekend just wondering how it was when you went and if the water levels are high. (They seem to be a bit higher than the last two years in the video?) Have you or anyone you know ever tried an inflatable boat? I think that is our plan this time around... I'm just concerned with how it will go!
@aliciamarietowns Hi! Yes, the water was quite high when I made this video. I wouldn't try an inflatable boat. The water simply isn't deep enough. I'm saying this as a former whitewater kayaker.
