@datheman3780 i have to agree with you on that. personally i would like our president to have a BMW or the new Buick Lacrosse as the official convoy vechicle but here in america its been a tradition for cadillac to provide the president with the vechicle. also another reason why the car looks so ugly is because of the extra protection and added security features that are in the car that makes it look so bulky. i envy you brits, we get chevy suburbans, you get bmws, jags and range rovers!

@HoTEcuaBoy You shouldn't envy them too much, nothing against them; but the reason we use Suburbans and Cadillacs is not just for size and protection, it's the amount of personnel and technology that can be transported in the convoy as well. Although BMWs, Mercedes, Audi's, Jags, and Range Rovers look nicer... it's a more expensive item to replace should one break down or get destroyed.

@HoTEcuaBoy Also, if you've ever been to Europe.. BMWs, Audis, Mercedes, and the like ARE their Chevys, Fords, and Cadillacs. I landed in Germany on the way back from Iraq.. and the airport's parking lot was FULL of Audis, Mercedes, BMWs, and a few Porsches. That's a European supply.

Obama was in the 2nd Limosine. The first Limosine is a decoy. Looks exactly alike but is not him, it is just a random person. It's to make sure we keep our President Safe.

@SirAvalord This is common knowledge to educated peoples. But to most of the world who neither care or take the time to research this our President is safe. This has been protocol since after President Kennedy. For the terrorists who do research this fact doesn't matter. The Beast is a Tank with windows. But each Vehicle has its specific place in the Motorcade, and the Decoy and real Limo is no exception.

@KB7KB7KB7 yeah there's a lot of them around now. I think all the police cars have been replaced with BMWs; the Range Rovers are only brought out on big occasions. But they sure beat the old Vauxhall Astra's, what a joke they were.
