  • How much do you think one of those cost

  • @breakkfastman1573 83 american pesos.

  • I like this guy. I want to see him say, "Get pitted! So, pitted!"

  • dude are you stoned or something?

  • @ZED305 o.O what makes you think that?

  • @themanonthebass cos you talk like it

  • @ZED305 haha nah I'm not.

  • What do you think: Boss ODB-3 or Bass Big Muff?

  • @Cartoonkid111 I've had limited experience with the boss odb I'm sorry I can't be of much help there. I challenge you to be the judge. There are copious amounts of demos of that pedal on youtube, and a pedal is only as good as it sounds to you. So you tell me! boss or ehx?

  • @themanonthebass Well I've only tired out a NY big muff on bass, and it sucked the low end right out of my bass. ODB-3 kept my low end pretty well, but I wasn't able to get a subtle grit and a big growl when combined with my wah. Do you think that's possible with the bass big muff?

  • @Cartoonkid111 Yeah the normal big muff is definitely a bass sucker. I think the bass big muff is good for the grit and growl, especially with the bass boost you don't have to worry about losing the low end

  • @Cartoonkid111 I don't have the Muff, but I have the ODB-3, and I'm strongly considering selling it and getting a Muff. I just don't really like the sound of the ODB-3. I feel like it just adds a gritty sound rather than actually distorting my bass playing, and it's impossible to get any kind of a smooth sound out of it. It's been lost for a while, so I'm going to try to find some tones I like on it when I get it back, but I'm predicting I get rid of it.

  • @minusjason That's what I'm thinking i'll do too. The ODB-3 just isn't enough for me.

  • how heavey is that 8 10 stack?

  • @joesteed7 easy enough for two people to carry. Impossible to do alone, but if you have another person it is not a problem.

  • stingray FTW

  • dude just buy a guitar.. wtf that dean bass shit was gay as fuck if you want a thin sound buy a jackson guitar and do pinch harmonics on that, not a bass dumbass

  • @JrileyEADG I hope your joking man.

today in so many metal/rock bands it's almost necessary to have od/fuzz bass tone, for BASS, not a guitar. It's a great way to cut through the mix, and ad some nice sonicy balls to your tone.

  • @JrileyEADG Yes, you're right, there are rules for instruments and people shouldn't break them. No one ever got anywhere by pushing the limits. Music is meant to be predictable!

  • Radical dude!

  • @mouthmw although that tone would be totally burried in the band mix. Not enough lows.

  • Ugh.

  • @freddo27 care to elaborate? Playing was ugh? pedal was ugh?

  • you sound like norm mccdonald sortof

  • metela ppink panther

  • very nice demo bro! your knowledge is very helpful and being an owner of a bass muff as well I vouch for all you said

  • dude if its manufactured in new york then is it 110volts or 220/230 ? can i use it in the middle of europe? :D

  • @SoulshatterEvolution Not sure on that, sorry. I recommend asking ehx.

  • @themanonthebass where do u live? isnt it indicated on the item?

  • @SoulshatterEvolution I'm in america. I checked both the bass muff and the paper it came with in the box, and it doesn't say. It just says use a 9 v battery to power it, or a 9 volt adapter

  • @themanonthebass yeah i didnt know it can be used with batterym ty anyways :P

  • @SoulshatterEvolution You use a 9 Volat Adapter, you need an European Adapter and everything is fine

  • @SoulshatterEvolution Yes, if you buy it where you live with a power lead for it you will be fine.

  • @SoulshatterEvolution Yes you can use it because it's 9volt dc so you only need an 9v adapter that you can buy at every ordinary electronicsstore

  • is it weird that it sound like an actual electrec guitar? :O

  • thanks for sharing your opinion, it sure helps me

i'll go to a music store here in brazil this weekend and try to check some pedals in order to find out which one i preffer

thanks and i'll be waiting for the video

  • hey could you do a demo that mimics cliffs tone on for whom the bell tolls??

i would really apreciate that, because i'm thinking of getting a bass pedal but i dont know if i should get the Bass Big Muff or the Russian Big Muff (black)

thanks a lot and nice video man

  • Sure thing, I'll try to get that up on Friday. Check out my wah vids, I get a tone similar, but this weekend I will do a demo called Cliff's Tone for you. Sound good? And the russian big muff, in my humble opinion, is a piece of junk pedal, but it will get you a gritty distortion sound similar to cliffs, but i didn't think it sounded as good when I played on it. I'd test out some guitar distortions, boss od-1, boss metalzone, regular big muff, and bass big muf definitely

  • Really great player and great tone!

  • |f you had time id love to see a demo of the acoustic 600 its self.

  • I plan on doing another distortion demo, I've been doing some experimenting, and at least two demos of this cab. My shesh is crazy right now, but as soon as I can I'll get some vids up. I will say I am perfectly content with this stack clean, it is so versatile

  • Just uploaded a demo of the stack

  • And Sorry first question i got it before guitar center did so I got it for 70. Now I think its at 80.

  • thatd be awesome man

  • wow how much did you get that for im trying to get cliffs setup

  • If you truly want cliffs setup, I recommend getting the guitar big muff (USA), and combining it with a morley wah. The bass big muff can achieve cliff burton tone, but it requires serious eq adjustment. U want me to do a demo that mimics cliff tone?

  • Hey just got the type of wah burton used. Let me tell you right now it doesn't matter what distortion you have, if you're using a morley power wah after any heavy distortion pedal you will get close to his sound. Check out my pulling teeth vid and tell me wut u think

  • Good but u must add more bass frequencies , expecially if you play in a band

  • I disagree, I feel that the bass boost of the big muff adds the necessary bass tone, and the sharp edge of the muff cuts through the band. If anything you need a little bit more uppermid/treble if you play in a band.

  • you are so good at playing!!!

  • First view.
