You cant blame a dad trying to get his son interested in football..i wish my dad wouldve done this with me /: This video makes me cry..my dad passed away 2 months ago & this father is just trying to bond with his son...he might be a little too young, but the kid will appreciate his dad when he's in the leauge :)
you take this game way too seriously. haha. what's next, the little kid's lifting weights?
I can understand showing him pass rush moves and tackling drills, but why put little shoulder pads and a helmet on him? (let me guess: for safety right? from the inanimate objects.....)
And BTW, I already said I'm commenting to see people get worked up over nothing.
I'm not worked up either. As the boy's dad, I can defend this pretty easily. It's awesome! The pads and the helmet get him used to wearing equipment - something that troubles a lot of kids when they first start playing pop-warner football. By the way, he's 4 now and the helmet and pads fit properly.
Oh no, it's not desperation at all - it's good planning. You see, 15 years from now Auburn's winning streak over Bama will only be 21-straight games. They'll need Fuller to take it up to 25.
GopherFan, please notice that I ACTUALLY said, "might wanna do it a little faster" and "ok, can you do it... can you do it faster?" Your misquote implies I somehow berated him. Had I done so, I would be pathetic.
However, all I did was make a slightly sarcastic comment about his speed, which I think most folks agree is good for a 2-year-old, and ask if he wanted to keep playing.
Rest assured, when he gets tired/ bored he says, "all done" and that ends our "playing football" time.
wow. it is a 2yr old kid, and the dad is like "Can't you do it any faster?" that is pathetic. o and i noticed that the little kid was wearing an auburn helmet and tackling a bama guy. hhhaahahahahahahaahahahaha

just said it to stir the pot.
but, putting pads and a helmet on a confused 2 year for your own amusement seems a bit.....(well, you finish that sentence.)
