i think the reason these cars are called super car because of its limited production, if chevy only produced about 400 corvettes a year, i bet people will look at a corvette and a ferrari equivalently.
actually thats not the reason. . you just dont understand.. a corvette has cheap rental car plastic interior. this car has hand stitched leather and carbon fiber panels. the vette has a nice v8 but this has a nicer higher revving, smaller and lighter v8 . wayyy nicer. the vette has a pretty solid gearbox...this has one of the best. a vette feels like a rush at 180mph...this car feels like ur going 60. thats the difference
of course if you pay 200k for a car then u would get carbon fiber, leather paddle gear box but it;s not that chevy cant put all the luxurious options on the vette, they just dont want to put alot of money in a mass produced cars like the corvette.

@danelio Hey, I know we're dealing with 4.3 V8 DOHC (double overhead camshaft), high-revving (8,500rpm). But the LS7 (7.0 V8) engine from Z06 is one of the best OHV (overhead valves) in the world. It uses displacement (a lot as a matter of fact!) to achieve this amount of power (505hp), but it's rev (7,100rpm) is a myth for OHV. The Corvette is so powerful, man. It's a Chevrolet, not a Ferrari. But it's still a great car for it's price.

@MathewBMW true. the vette can perform like a f430, and true, the LS series engines are very solid power plants, and new corvettes are pretty light also. with that said, i still believe that what ferrari does with their cars is more incredible then what gm does with theirs. most people in the world would choose the ferrari, most people in the US might choose the corvette.

Having balls is the key to success. Start your own business in something you have knowledge in, but follow through on it, and stick with it through the hard times, and the doubters, because people will always try and be negative and bring you down. You'll never make real money to afford a Ferrari working for someone else. Most people settle with simply maintaining, and they are too pussy to go out and get what they want.

TKOteknikalKNOCKout, dont get pissed off. I know a guy who owns one. And he is teaching me how he made his fortune so someday I'll have one. First step, believe you can someday buy one. Then find someone who has one, and ask him what he does to be able to afford it. Then ask him to teach you to do what he does. Don't complain at life, learn from those who have results in life and learn from them. Dream Big and don't let anyone steal your dream. Find the right business and you'ii own Ferrari.

Yeah thats all good until everyone you ask says they just have a lot of money in their family. Everyone I know with nice cars had them handed to them.....or a large business handed down to them. It is rare to find someone who actually made all of that out of nothing, but when you do you are right, you should ask them for advice.

Even when a business is handed down to someone, do you think a wealthy person would hand thier business to their son if the son didn't have the money skills to handle and manage multi million dollar accounts? No. That person passed down his knowledge, so why not ask for advice? Wouldn't hurt asking.

You have a good point. In my case, however, it seems that every time I ask someone all they can say is "oh, my parents gave it to me". In other words, their dad made them the boss of all the employees, but their dad still has to have a foot in the door in case everything starts to fall apart.

Sorry to hear that. Apperently you never meet the Diamonds. The wealthy people I associate with all created their fortune from scrach. My "poorest" teacher makes 6,000 a month, the highest 240,000 a month. Keep in mind, I work for 8.50/hr in a 7-Eleven, and these guys see me as an equal. I know what I learn from them will help me make my own fortune. Be careful who you associate with, it will decide your future.

I was once told that you have to be down to earth, that you have to be satisfied with what you have. You need to have some un-satisfaction in order to get what you desire... being unsatisfied helps me work harder.. as of right now im only content to a certain extent.. next will be a big house then perhaps a 911
