Some good points but there are many countries that have hungry althletes and football fanatics, particularly the Africans right now. And having 6'7" strikers isn't really an attribute in football. Look at the the likes of Zola, Maradona and Garrincha; legends who were fairly small. There is no doubt that if USA were to make it the number one sport then you would have a good team just for the massive population you have. But that's no certainty, that is the beauty of football :)

Some good points but there are many countries that have hungry althletes and football fanatics, particularly the Africans right now. And having 6'7" strikers isn't really an attribute in football. Look at the the likes of Zola, Maradona and Garrincha; legends who were fairly small. There is no doubt that if USA were to make it the number one sport then you would have a good team just for the massive population you have. But that's no certainty, that is the beauty of football :)
