i thought those cars got closer to 40mpg? my dad had a 95 or so tercel with the 4spd. it got 40mpg, it was slower than old people fuck but fun to ride in. im gonna buy a tercel or a paseo, about the same size and get around the same mileage but the paseo looks better

swap a 4-Efte engine into this thing and you'll get 133 horse power, and after that put in more mods and the car will be a beast. I was considering that but I decided just to get an RSX instead.
I totally rebuilt a 94 for my Mom. 4-speed coupe. Teal green. I gave it a new everything. (-; I drove it out to her in CA frm Louisiana, She wanted to move out here, so she drove it all the way back! Cost $120 in gas to go 1,300 miles. She LOVES it. She calls it Betsy. It's super reliable, and very, very good on gas. A perfect little car.
It has two seat belts becuase if you look on the door buckle it has a red button that says "Emergency release" it is meant to stay clicked into the door so when u open the door you step into the belt as your sitting down there for not forgeting to wear your seat belt. then u remember the second lap belt. like fords automatic electric track belt. (escorts etc.) ik this because i own a 91' tercel and i love it! great gas milage. and nice take off of top gear lol ;)

I bought my 1992 Tercel eleven years ago for two hundred dollars,yet have only done one thousand dollars worth of work to the car in over a decade.
I've put about 87,000 miles on it myself...had 115,000 miles when I bought it.
The best car I've ever had...so far....
