@Altier215 salamanders dont have to be black skin because they may be pre heresy, vulkan wasnt black skined, you must remember that when the emporer found vulkan on nocturn he brought the legion of space marines with him from earth so most will be guys. when they had the istovan massacre there were 700 odd marines left and replacing the marines now are nocturns black race of people
@monkeywithplutonium yes correct, the radiation is what makes them coloured but thats on their home planet, now when they came from earth before the emporer found vulkan the marines would be prodiminatly white. then over the years and after the massacre they would have recruited from the homeworld where they are black because of radiation. although i ould also guess that the heat of the planet may have had some form of imput aswell, as they can deal with the heat better with black skin.
@kaoticmachine actualy vulkan was of a negroid color if you actualy play second editon when they did describe all the primarchs. the people of the planet were also desrcibed as vulkan also. but due to the gene and other implants that makes them space marine and the presence of the radiation of the planet with interacts with each other that cause the salamanders space marines to develope the black skin your referring too.

dude, you do realise salamanders need pure black or really dark skin like a drows right, it has that right in the codex, i dont mean any offense to you, and i think it looks great but read the codex or at least take the hint about something considering every other salamanders army on youtube has the same basic type of skin, this guy just got the skin to look cool and not dull.

i was talking to the guy terrainoholic, he said that the skin was very original, and i was saying that salamanders all need black skin. i was also trying to compliment the way you did it, and said it was cool how yours wasnt a flat black head. I dont get why you were thinking the camera was bad or anything
