  • Nice. Just very nice.

  • Even Glenn Beck is open to debate. That's really saying something.

  • I know if you look up "hypocrite" in the dictionary KO's picture is next to the definition (with a smaller pic of Dean there as well) but.... whatever happened to Keith?

  • I never thought I would say this, but I agree with ole Dean here. Olby's a fucking douche.

  • @Boostnitup, since you mention it, so, who the fv(#ing you?!

  • what's funnier? Olby saying fascist or Dean's scream?

  • Keith Overbite: "Is there something of a double standard here?"

    Oh, gosh...ya THINK?

  • Douche

  • HAHAHAHAH Kettle calling Pot "BLACK" right?

This is why "BATH Tub Boy" is irrelevent.

  • Really great clip resonating a core insane over-the-top side of Olbermann. This should be the front page of Huffington Post.

  • This is hillarious. Olby is dying here.

  • Olbermann is a puppet of George Soros, nothing more, and Soros is a Marxist Communist, which is quite like a Fascist. Big government controlled by big business, this is what we have now. Soon it will be Communist USSA if Obama has his way, with the spill as an excuse to push through CAP and TAX. His job creation program has been limited to government jobs, zero private sector. This is a clear sign of things to come, and they don't look good.

  • @TheKickerboy99 You're dead right about that.

  • Ok now what do you call the Oliely and the rest of the hate mongers of the far right

  • The difference between olberman and the republicans is that he is not paid to be a state representative, where the decorum for language and behavior is supposed to be professional.

with that said.............i say fuck it,.,.lol. politics abroad is way more entertaining.

  • Wow, quote-mining to make your point, seriously? At least Keith would do so with reason, he doesn't throw those words around, Faux News on the other hand, they have called Obama both a Nazi, a fascist, and a communist.

Hint: You can't both be a Nazi and a communist.

Keith responds to policies and statements, Fixed News does it as a matter of habit. Which is ironic, considering fascism is right-winged extremism.

Your instinct to vote my post down or mark it as spam just proves my point.

  • @F3YR3 .. I know it's been a month , you probably googled this by now and found out that you are wrong, but please show proof that FOX news EVER called obama a nazi, a fascist , or communist.. nevermind, don't bother you'll be wasting your time because it didn't, it never happened and it simply doesn't exist..

  • @F3YR3 How about commenting about how Howard Dean is saying what not to do and Olbermann does exactly the opposite! Wow! Talk about worshiping an idiot! This guy is a liberal, coummunist. He would love nothing more then the government to run everything and take all rights away (except his, of course)

  • LMFAO,This is great.Olberman is such a hypocritical fucking moron.

  • Bathtub boy has the biggest crush on Bill O'reilly. He can't get through a single show without mentioning his name.

  • no matter what tho, exenrontexas, you avoid the content of this video in preference for your BDS

Olbermann gets OWNED, EXPOSED, PLAYED, FILLETED

BDS is contagious!!! to avoid contracting BDS, maintain intelligence, avoid liberal propaganda & idiocy, and wash your hands frequently

  • this video is priceless

if only MSNBC had shown Olbys slimey fat face when Howie Dean was saying that stuff... he must have had the biggest shit-eating grin on his fat slimey face

  • you don't reach reach the moderate middle by calling those who disagree with obama racist

    DICK DEAN

  • so Olby thinks Bush is a facist for things like rendition, the patriot act, fisa, and holding terrorists indefinitely. Well now that his messiah is president everything has been put right. Except for the small fact that Obama has continued those practices. I wonder why dolbermann never talks about that

  • @ars21689 Olbermann has express strong disappointment as have many others that Obama has NOT reversed many of the most odious, fascist policies and NOT directed the Justice department to gather evidence to arrest them and try them for treason. I know that I am very disappointed that Obama has not exposed the fact that Alberto Gonzales, the BUSH AG, in charge of the ENRON prosecution was himself an ENRON lawyer. Secrecy is the friend of Tyranny.

  • I've only heard him say one thing about FISA and Obama and it was before he was elected

  • @ars21689 I have heard many negative comments from Olbermann about Obama on many issues, not just FISA. There is a strong sense of disappointment among progressives. He promised change and we have not seen much change. He has been too nice.

  • I'm not saying he hasn't criticized Obama at all, but that Obama has continued all of the Bush policies that caused Olbermann to say he was a nazi facist and he constantly criticized Bush night after night. I wasn't talking about Olbermann's position on health care and afghanistan

  • @ars21689 ANY repeat or continuation of ANY politician who continues the fascist poiicies of BUSH SHOULD be criticized. There is NO DOUBT that BUSH was as close to being a fascist as you can be without wearing a swastika. When I worked at ENRON, who was BUSH's NUMBER ONE supporter in 2000, I heard STRONG support of EUGENICS aka social darwinism aka the final solution aka the holocaust.

  • the swastika was a socialist symbol, not a fascist one

for being Bush's "number one supporter in 2000" it was Bush's Justice Dept. and SEC that brought the case against Enron

and it was 1996-2001 when Enron overstated its earnings by almost $600bil

but those facts are a minor nuisance to those suffering from BDS

  • @Zaxxon2008 I see that you have been mislead in many ways. Since HITLER was the number one fascist of his day, can you explain why all his followers wore and displayed the Swastika?

The BUSH Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales who was in charge of the Enron prosecution was HIMSELF a former ENRON lawyer working for Vinson & Elkins exclusively on the ENRON account. Ken Lay recommended him to his good friend and ally, George BUSH, then TX gov. for appointment to the TX supreme court. His did.

  • and it was the early 1990's when - "Congress passed legislation to open up electricity sales to marketers... ENRON became one of the first companies to receive govt approval to sell electricity at market rate... In 94 ENRON... quickly dominated the US market" (New York Times)

that falls under both Democrat Congress, and the Clinton administration

btw, Alberto Gonzalez was also a board director at the United Way Gulf Coast division. that make him responsible for Katrina as well?

    LOL @ U

  • SO it took Ken Lay a little while to deceive the CA legislature and buy enough votes to get deregulation passed. It was REPUBLICANS who made that happen. Were you aware that the BUSH Sec. of the Army who let the NO BID contracts to Halliburton was Tom White, a former Enron exec. Robert Mosbacher, just died & he was an ENRON director and served as Sec of Commerce for BUSH 41.Wendy Gramm was making a million/year as an ENRON director & his husband PHIL (R-TX) wrote the ENRON loophole. UNHOLY GOP.

  • @exenrontexas

so basically what you are saying is... its all a conspiracy traced back to John Wilkes Boothe?!?!?!!!!

    DAMN THEIR REBEL HIDES!!!!!

or are you saying Ruby didnt really kill Oswald & that it was really RUBY in the Tex School Book Depo!!!!!?!

let me submit this theory -

it was Professor Plum who killed Colonel Mustard, in the Library, with the lead pipe! and all this as Miss Scarlet watched on in GLEE! FOR SHAME madam, for shame.

it makes me weep :''( :''(''''

  • more like when all else fails, and all you have is conspiracy theories & self loathing, you end up mocked and resort to name calling

it almost makes me weep :''(

    almost

    Olbermann gets PWND!!!

  • ROFL

    'WRONG!'

    also LOL @ copying 'weep'

blame Bush blame Bush blame Bush!!!

Mao killed millions, Stalin killed millions, Jack the Ripper killed women... BLAME BUSH!!!

AAAAAaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!!! i just cant blame Bush enough because i'm so ignorantly liberal!!!! its like halitosis of the mind

    bwahahahahaaaa

  • @exenrontexas

i am not using the crimes of Mao & Stalin to "excuse the crimes of BUSH" you fool

it is quite clear from everything you have stated.....

    EVERYTHING is BUSH's fault!!!!

it rained yesterday.... BUSH DID IT! BUSH DROWNS WORMS WITH EVIL Right-wing rains!! BUSH hates puppies and gives people CANCER! BUSH rapes trees and cuts down women!!!

i mock you openly and with aplomb

  • i'm not a deciever

    i'm the decider

fool me once, shame on you

fool me twice... you dont get to fool me again

    and you fool noone

    you are an epic failure

isnt it past your nap time, grandpa

  • @Zaxxon2008 I have done work with the Gulf Coast United Way and Gonzales was a NO SHOW, only there for poltiical purposes. Don't you remember that the TORTURE Attorney General was in line for a BUSH Supreme Court appointment? What a nightmare THAT would be.

  • @Zaxxon2008 The crimes at ENRON began NOT in 1996 as you claim but almost immediately after Ken Lay seized power there in 1985. I was in the room when the BOD voted him in power. Lay's first crime was covering up the $400 billion dollar fraud by Belco petroleum. Second was the $180 million dollar embezzlement of the Enron trading company in Valhalla, NY. BOTH during the REAGAN DEREGULATION of business and his failed economic policies. For YOU, DENIAL is far, FAR MORE than a river in Egypt.

  • @exenrontexas

where to start on your ignorance?

Hitler led the National Socialists (NAZI) ergo, swastika is a socialist symbol, not a fascist one. Benito Mussolini was a fascist. Hitler was a socialist

i did NOT claim ENRONs crimes started in 96, i said 96 was when they first began overstating their income by $600bil

it was AG John Ashcroft who began proceedings against ENRON, not Gonzalez

tho Gonzalez WAS AG in 2006, when Ken Lay was convicted, but not in 04 when he was indicted

  • @Zaxxon2008 It was Gonzales who gave HUNDREDS of Enron executives a pass on the crimes of ENRON. TWO examples are Tom White, the BUSH SEC. of the Army who let the Halliburton NO BID contracts AND Rich Kinder who was BUSH #2 contributor in 2000 behind Ken Lay who was #1. Most of the TX politicians owe their success to ENRON STOLEN MONEY such as Tom DeLay, Phil Gramm, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, John Cornyn and Dick Armey. AND Gonzales was influential in ruling the Cliff Baxter MURDER, a suicide.

  • @Zaxxon2008 Cliff Baxter was found in his car a block from his house dead. Shot with untraceable bird shot, with a UNSIGNED hand printed suicide note, the day before he was to be deposed by the Gonzales Justice Department. The autopsy says that to cause the wound pattern that he had, Baxter held the gun five feet from his head. Baxter had a asphalt brush on his arm as if he had fallen on the pavement. He was murdered in Tom DeLay's hometown. Baxter was the ONLY Enron exec to have remorse.

  • @ars21689 You need to be listening to be able to hear Olbermanns MANY criticism of the failure of Obama to reverse the fascist policies of BUSH and to arrest and try the BUSHIES for TREASON.

  • lool funny vid:)

  • Olbermann can't even debate his hero because he was not reading from the teleprompter supplied from the White House. Just a mumbling, stumbling mashed up bag of human fat.

    Priceless!!!

  • it seems as if even Howard Dead doesn't watch Olbermann.. lol!

  • The sky is blue, sun rises in the east, death, taxes and Keith Olbermann is batshit crazy.

Purple Fury on October 14, 2009 at 8:17 AM

  • ".......you maybe crazy or you maybe wrong but at least put some meat on the Bone "

    LOL

    LOL

    LOL

There are SO many jokes in there !!

Olberman is the Biggest Joke of ALL !!!

Damn, I swear that guy is getting Fatter by the day !

  • Man I can't wait to see Jon Stewart do a piece on all of Olbermann's BS. Oh yeah I forgot, Stewart only does that to conservatives.

  • They did call Br. Bush names & you said nothing, Howard.

  • And Obama is Creating ................. ????

Crazy Liberals forget how they called Bush every name in the Book !

BathTub Boy does'nt have a case, he just wants to Whine !!!!!!

  • Blah blah blah....

His case wasn't cut out--watch the video again.

Don't defend Olbermann. He is clearly, clearly a hypocrite!

  • Give me a fucking break. Makes it look like Olbermann is just a rabid hater of Bush? Well that is what he is, douchebag. He has claimed Bush is worse than the terrorists. There is no fucking defense for it. Hell, he has even claimed that Fox News has done more damage than the Taliban. No amount of video in the fucking world can explain that away asshole, regardless of how many of Keith's ten viewers claim it can.

  • @masanf

You are a complete fucking moron. So according to you, Bush was a fascist because he was making the US a corporate state, but the guy who initiated a government takeover of multiple banks, GM and Chrysler is not a fascist? Nice to see intellectual consistency isn't your strong suit. Of course, I knew that the second you said you were a libertarian voting for Obama. Because, obviously, a libertarian would support the most statist presidential candidate since FDR, and maybe ever.

  • ah yes the corporate state, well at least you realize that that is a key element of fascism which so few on the left, right, and center realize but alas it has been obama who has done even larger gov't intrusions into private banks and most fascist like of all is the gov't taking partial ownership of GM. if by bush's fascism you mean accepting corp donations and being friendly to donors that is age old and even obambi does that just look at his donor records.

  • We intruded in those companies because we bailed them out, and basically owned them. Take for example AIG, we own the majority of it, therefor we can make the rules. This is commonplace in a capitalist system that the majority holders of a company make the rules.

  • it is commonplace in capitalism for PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS to own parts of corps and make "the rules" which of course would have to comply with gov't rules like sec regs but the gov't should never own part of private companies. if you've noticed the AIG corps are making profits again and still paying large bonuses to their CEOs and pple are mad about it but we should be surprised since banks give heavily to many candidates such as barney frank and chris dodd. lets break that unholy bond.

  • you do make a good point that we took a majority stake in the company but i will say that we should never have done that in the first place. gov'ts like soviet russia that owned/operated almost all industries produced sh** products like the car yugo and despite the USSR having way more natural resources than a place like Japan, they simply couldn't produce near the output for the same amount of input. The inherent problem is that gov't is insulated from market forces bc it need not make profits

  • I agree, we shouldn't have bailed them out in the first place. I'm not here to defend Obama, I am a libertarian. While I did vote for Obama, it was because I couldn't vote for Ron Paul because he wasn't on the ticket. There are systems in place for dealing with insolvent banks, which we did not use.

  • You are a libertarian? You couldn't vote for Ron Paul so you voted for Obama? You are a libertarian? Because when I can't vote for Paul, I am obviously going to vote for the most far-left, statist candidate in United States history. Here is a tip saiochi, no one fucking believes you are a libertarian.

  • Yes, because being a libertarian means if your candidate doesn't get the republican nomination, that you should just vote for the one who does. Right? Oh wait, that's not how it works. I voted for Obama because I am a LEFT-LEANING libertarian. Yes, we exist. Now shut the fuck up, please.

  • @saiochi

Hey dipshit, you are either a libertarian or you support a candidate who calls for a vast expansion of the power of the state. What are you going to do next, claim you are a capitalist who believes in a centralized economy?

  • This tool needs to be on medication.

  • Olberman see's things in the Today since !

Do Not Call Obama a Facist !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although he called Bush a Facist, Tyrant, EVIL, Traitor etc... Risign NOW !!

He spent most of time during the Clinton trials in the Bath-Tub smoking weed and crack !!

Hence the name Bathtub Boy !!!

He thinks O'Reilly should be Fired ! LOL

  • Olberman is quite literally insane.

  • You are a fascist for saying that!

    ;)

  • So even though Olbermann is too scared to debate a conservative on his show, he still managed to lose a a debate with hard-left Howard Dean!

  • These two fucking clowns on name-calling? This is a joke right? These are actors right? They've been calling people names for years in Michigan, in Montana, in Iowa, in Delaware, in Nevada, in Kansas, and Washington DC, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!

  • Olberdork is always good for a laugh from the hypocritical left wing. Good stuff though. Nice work Olbywatch.

  • This mindless robot reads and reports garbage from left wing blogs as fact from a teleprompter. Bring in a "live" person with an opposing point of view, cut the teleprompter and see how Olbermann handles it. Oh wait, you just saw what happened...he is totally out of his element and could not defend any of his statements. I bet he went home and sat in the bath tub for days weeping about what a HACK he really is.

  • Olbermann got owned. One of his buddies makes an excellent point and Olby can't defend his actions...just stumbles over his words. That's why he doesn't debate anyone...because you can't debate while reading from a teleprompter. What a joke!!!!

  • Olbermann is a joke!! He needs to be taken off T.V.

  • Great Video!!!! You are spot on!!

  • Dean was correct. We should remember that we are all Americans first. You can disagree without being disagreeable. Keith has not figured that out yet. The CEO of GE, Jerry Zucker, must like him. Obama and Zucker have close ties in the new cap and trade business model.

  • Was Dean commenting on Olby's statements, or was it just a coincidence? In other words, was Dean trying to destroy Olby or did it just remind OlbyWatch of things that Olby had said in the past ("fascism" etc...)?

  • Rolling on the ground laughing!!!

  • Awesome!

  • Olberwoman is a pervert.

And he is shaped like a pear.

  • Olbermann is such a faggy puke.

  • I cant believe I would ever say this but...thanks Howard Dean

  • Great video...Dean just fucked Olbermann up and he couldn't defend himself. That's why he doesn't EVER debate anyone. LOL

  • @brad90956 HGWT5763. 02/10/25/2010 A.D. HOWARD DEAN DID NO SUCH THING-K.O. JUST CALLED THEM AS HE SAW THEM-GEORGE WALKER BUSH,WARMONGER,THE THIEF THAT STOLE THE WHITE HOUSE-APPARENTLY WHAT WEJUST SAW WAS SPLICED AND EDITED SIDEWAYS,SORT OF,WAY TO GO,K.O.!

  • Haha I love this.

  • Keith Obamann?

  • Keith Ooberfail or Keith Boogeymann?

  • he should get his head out of obamas ass,but maybe he also gets tingles up and down his leg like that other ass.

  • I see Dean's meds seem to work very well, maybe they should give some to Olby.

  • great video!! send olberman to Afghanistan .. then lets see how really brave is the punk ass

  • VERY GOOD POINT!

  • I didn't even know Olberman was still on TV. How can a show go on with no ratings?

  • Who's Olberman?

  • Exactly, nobody watches him.

  • "huge deficits that he [Bush] ran up"........So if Obama has spent more in 2 months than Bush did in 8 years, what would that be??!

  • Are you serious?! Under President Obamas proposed budget, our deficit will hit $1.8 trillion this year — quadrupling the 2008 record shortfall and amounting to 13.1 percent of the countrys entire economic output. The CBO has projected $9.3 trillion in deficits over the next 10 yrs. That is $2.3 trillion worse than the Obama administrations early predictions, $1 trillion per year until 2019, 4 times as much as President Bushs deficits.

  • What does he mean, "If somebody had called President Bush dreadful names like that, I would have said 'Look, we disagree with President Bush - strongly - and he's wrong about the war in Iraq, for example, or the huge deficits that he ran up, but he is the President and we are going to be respectful of him." He's one to be talking about "huge deficits" - Obama has surpassed everyone, and President Bush was called every name in the book - and some new ones. Besides, Obama is a fascist.

  • This is like watching two squirls fuking! Funny!

  • Olbermann is one of the biggest douche bags on tv.

  • OK, let me see if I can explain.....this was about Olby being made to look like a fool by Howard Dean. I pointed out that Dean had shown class and mentioned that this was a trait obviously foreign to Olby. I didn't mention opinion or say the shows shouldn't have opinion etc.....please read the lead up to what another person and I were discussing and you will see that you are way out of line. It only takes a few minutes...start from the beginning OK?

  • To believe there is a significant difference between the antics, legal and otherwise, of the two parties is to simply label yourself as suffering from selective memory. From the beginning of the two party system, the actions of those in power have served, at times, to amuse and at other times sicken. Two sides of the same coin is a great way to sum it up.

  • Either find Democratic legal transgressions that compare to those I listed for the Republicans, or go back to watching South Park.

Republicans and Democrats are not the same parties they were in the 1800s so any discussion that inclued "from the beginning of the two party system" is a different (though valid and interesting) discussion. Let's talk since 1964, an appropriate watershed year for both parties.

  • What is "SouthPark"? Haven't had the pleasure. Anyway........all that you list are simply opinion. Oh there have been many that maintained just what you say but again, more opinion. When someone of legitimate stature (and I don't mean some liberal, left wing writer or talking head) proves your statements then you will have my apology. Lets use the Supreme Court as a standard huh? This posting was about KO and more importantly, the words of the former head of the DNC. Not Bush.

  • acorn

  • LOL. This whole video is gold

  • You have to give Dean his due in this one. He showed "Class" in this instance if not always. "...he is the President and we're going to be respectful of him"

Good Idea and a concept that Olby can't seem to understand.

  • man he seems to be obsessed with glen beck and bill oreilly. why doesnt he stop advertising people like oreilly and hannity and start having people in his program who can bring the other point of view. atleast chris mathews tries to bring the people who disagrees with him

  • "Is there a little bit of a double standard here or am I being overly sensitive" Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Olbermann you're a dork! Ha ha ha

  • so now that democrats are in office , they cant call the republicans or Bush any more names, but also they forbid any at Obama.. ha! boy are they syupid.. i call olberman a fucking douchebag on zanex

  • "In May of 1939, with FDR's socialist New Deal then six years old, Morganthau

testified before the House Ways and Means Committee just how absolute a

disaster Roosevelt's socialist big spending, taxing and heavy regulating

policies were . Speaking for Roosevelt's government Morganthau confessed:

"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent

before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong"

  • somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want

to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have

never made good on our promises ...I say after eight years of this

Administration we have just as much employment as when we started ...and an

    enormous debt to boot".

  • After all this chattering bullshit and pathetic talking points (lol Clinton rode the Reagan boom while we had a recession in 91-92... riiiiight, LBJ rode JFK tax cuts that weren't even implemented under JFK presidency? WTF!).

You idiots can't explain the fact that FDR had 8% average growth, JFK-LBJ 5.5% and Clinton 3.6%? The only post war Democrat to do worse than Reagan's 3.4% was Carter (at 3.3% hardly worse) and Truman's elected term (he did have massive growth in his first 'term' though).

  • Reagans tax cuts gave rise to the R&D that led to the tech boom that fueled the economy in the 90s' Clinton had nothing to do with it except for slowing it down with tax increases in 1993 and then speeding it up with tax cuts (a conservative approach) in 1997 with the help of the GOP Congress.

"LBJ rode JFK tax cuts that weren't even implemented under JFK presidency? WTF!)."

They were passed in 1962 and went into full effect in 1964, right as LBJ's presidency was beginning. LBJ rode the wave.

  • "They were passed in 1962 and went into full effect in 1964, right as LBJ's presidency was beginning. LBJ rode the wave."

Then HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE JFK GROWTH? God damn it use your damn brain!

  • The post 1958 recession boom. GDP growth for 1959-60 was actually higher than 1961-62. GDP growth was slowing until JFK cut taxes.

  • You said it yourself it's a post recession bounce. JFk had 5.5% growth which again is twice what Reagan had.

And for the last time WHAT IS IT ABOUT WW2 THAT PRODUCED AN ECONOMIC BOOM? It's almost uncanny how systematically you two dolts have avoided that question.

  • "You said it yourself it's a post recession bounce."

That started WELL BEFORE JFK's term started. He had nothing to do with a bounce that happened two years before he took office. And not to nitpick but JFK averaged 5.1% growth.

"And for the last time WHAT IS IT ABOUT WW2 THAT PRODUCED AN ECONOMIC BOOM?"

Are you kidding me? Wars are economic boons. Seriously, are you so stupid that you have to ask this question?

    "

  • "WHAT IS IT ABOUT WW2 THAT PRODUCED AN ECONOMIC BOOM? "

    You can't be serious?

Do you understand pre WW2 our military was no where near prepared for any kind of war? Gee.......that means you have to PRODUCE !

Andddddd factories need people to produce.....and they get things called "JOBS" !

Those things called "jobs" pay useful barter units called "money" for people. Those people then spend the "money"...growing an economy !

  • And who PAYS for those jobs? Oh yes THE GOVERNMENT! You idiot. Bullets are not magic in fact FDR could have created a wartime economy without a war. It would haver had the same economic effect (an economic boom and giant deficits). It is in principle an admission by you that conservatism has failed. Thank you.

Of course without a war it makes more sense to create things that have some utility and economic value. Like roads and infrastructure. Note: this only works in a depressed economy.

  • Sorry, skippy....You walked right into the admission. What we have said all along. WW2 was the recovery. Not his failed policies for the previous years. You Lose. As always.

  • "None of this changes the facts that FDR's new deal produced stronger growth than any president since. "

That's just it, his New Deal didn't produce any economic growth. 6 years later and unemployment was still in the stratosphere and the economy was in another recession. The New Deal leveraged us to the hilt.

Public debt in 1933: 22.5 Billion

Public debt in 1941: 48.9 Billion

Even FDR's own Treasury Secretay admitted that the New Deal was a huge boondoggle.

  • In May of 1939, with FDR's socialist New Deal then six years old, Morganthau

testified before the House Ways and Means Committee just how absolute a

disaster Roosevelt's socialist big spending, taxing and heavy regulating

policies were . Speaking for Roosevelt's government Morganthau confessed:

"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent

before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong....

  • continued:

"somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want

to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have

never made good on our promises ...I say after eight years of this

Administration we have just as much employment as when we started ...and an

enormous debt to boot". (p.2 "New Deal or Raw Deal"?)"

  • "That's just it, his New Deal didn't produce any economic growth. 6 years later and unemployment was still in the stratosphere and the economy was in another recession. The New Deal leveraged us to the hilt."

5.5% GDP growth pear year you idiot. You can yap your trap all you want nothing changes that. FDR makes Reagan look like the b-list actor he was. And so did Kennedy, LBJ and Clinton.

  • "5.5% GDP growth pear year you idiot. "

That had nothing to do with the New Deal, even FDR's own Treasury Secretary admitted that. What do you know that he doesn't?

  • "Still what do you have to say for the fact that FDR had 8% average growth, JFK-LBJ 5.5% and Clinton 3.6%?"

FDR averaged 8% because of WWII, JFK had 5.5% because of his tax cuts. LBJ just road off of that tidal wave. Reagan's 3.5% growth was miraculous considering the mess Carter left him. Remember Carter? His admin. gave us the term "Misery Index".

Clinton rode off of the tech boom created by Reagan's tax cuts. Crediting Clinton for the economy is like crediting a rooster for the sunrise.

  • "JFK had 5.5% because of his tax cuts"

Wrong the tax cuts came after JFK, LBJ invoked his name to pass them though.

"Reagan's 3.5% growth was miraculous considering the mess Carter left him. Remember Carter? His admin. gave us the term "Misery Index"."

lol Carter growth was 3.3% soundly beating Nixon/Ford and both Bushes.

Come on admit it you are making some pathetic excuses here. Your arguments have zero intellectual grounding and are 100% ideological.

  • "Wrong the tax cuts came after JFK"

Wrong, idiot. The cuts came in 1962. Nice try but you fail again. LBJ rode the wave JFK created.

    "Carter growth was 3.3%"

13% unemployment, 21% inflation, stagflation, gas lines, hostages. Carter's presidency was a mess and Reagan cleaned it up.

"Come on admit it you are making some pathetic excuses here."

Translation: Don't bother me with facts!

  • "Translation: Don't bother me with facts!"

    Here you go:

FDR had 8% average growth, JFK-LBJ 5.5% and Clinton 3.6%? The only post war Democrat to do worse than Reagan's 3.4% was Carter (at 3.3% hardly worse) and Truman's elected term (he did have massive growth in his first 'term' though).

  • "FDR had 8% average growth"

    WWII

    "JFK-LBJ 5.5%"

JFK's tax cuts, the Vietnam War and the post 1958 recession boom. Check GDP growth for 1959 and 1960. It's actually higher than 1961 and 1962.

    " Clinton 3.6%? "

We already went over this. Repeating the same bullshit stat without examining the reasons behind it does you no good.

Reagan's 3.4% was amazing considering the mess that was handed to him by Carter. It was only 3.4% in REAL dollars is because inflation was so high (thanks to Carter).

  • "Reagan's 3.4% was amazing considering the mess that was handed to him by Carter. It was only 3.4% in REAL dollars is because inflation was so high (thanks to Carter)."

That Carter figure of 3.3% growth was also inflation adjusted.

  • "That Carter figure of 3.3% growth was also inflation adjusted."

So what? Inflation didn't hit until into Carter's term,

  • Reagan economic program took effect in 1982, the economy took off , growing at an average annual rate of 4.3%. As a comparison, average annual growth for the twelve years from 1990-2001 (since Reagan) was 2.95%, for 1991-2001 (previous trough to peak) it was 3.05% and for 1992-2001 (the last expansion) it was 3.4%.

The average growth for the eight Clinton years was 3.55%, and it was part of the last expansion period.

  • Not to mention the economy went south when LBJ was President.

  • Olberman is a JOKE! look at the ratings! Just released! FOX RULES!

Fox remains on a mountain above its two closest competitors, with its prime-time audience in March more than that of MSNBC and CNN combined. "The O'Reilly Factor" has done particularly well, keeping more of its postelection audience than anything else on CNN and MSNBC.

Through Wednesday, Fox was averaging 2.73 million prime-time viewers in March. MSNBC had 1.16 million and CNN had 1.14 million.

  • olberdouche! lol! what an idiot. our cable network in NY has a blackout at 8PM on MSNBC every Mon-Fri so I can't see this on tv---and i'm not complaining.

  • Bathtub Boy Olbermann asks if there's a double standard???? LMAO

The Mad Hatter (umm.. Hater) strikes again.

  • And back to topic. Olbermann is bonkers lol

  • Olbermann is the voice of yellow journalism in our day.

  • Good point. Olbermann's entire show is misinformation, deception, & misleading his audience. He seems unstable psychologically and is filled with hate with anyone that disagrees with him. He is a radical and is totally incapable of any thoughtful dialogue. One has to wonder why MSNBC and NBC keeps this guy on the air with his extremely low ratings? But more importantly- Olbermann is dangerous. There are naive , young, impressionable people out there that actually listen & believe his rantings.

  • Editing job ? Sorry--save that for MediaMatters. And Center for American progress. (A group who saw fit last week to harass a rape victim just because Bill O supported her- after Bill's words were taken out of context)

Guess Keith didn't say those things ? Whom was he calling a fascist? Seems like you admitted it in your last paragraph.

The former HEAD of the DNC disagrees with him on "fascist" -and you lump that into ALL guests disagreeing with him.

    Well that's 1........in 8 years Congrats.

  • Ha....Olberman busted. What a fuck bag.

  • Great video. So true.

  • luls

  • As a partisan R, I wonder why the Ds abandoned Howard Dean. He's a sharp dude. Has been very effective in his role as chair of the DNC.

The "Dean Scream" was much ado about nothing. What was his sin? Too much enthusiasm? That's a good thing.

Yeah, I never would've praised him when he was the leading Democrat candidate for Prez in '04. Guilty.

Don't like either of these guys. Olby's a harmless blowhard. Dean's smart to disown the lame "fascist" label. Olby would be wise to follow suit.

  • hilarious. no matter what Keith did to try to lead Dean into giving an agreeable answer nothing worked. he must've been so pissed after this.

  • Good call pulsar,

That's Olby's favorite technique, leading the witness. His ego can't handle being challenged, so he tries to lead his guests to safe turf.

But Dean didn't follow Keith's lead, and that's what made this interview so great. For once, we got some candor, and Keith was shown as the tool he is.

  • Keith, run into your office.........hide under your desk........... and stay there!

We'll let you know when it's safe to come out.
