  • wow! Seeing the oil sinking at the bottom of the sea in a click amaze me! magnificent invention!

  • this is bull shit ~ because if you put an inch of this crap on the bottom & coral there would be no light on the plants and bottom and it would smother the oxygen flow as well put 4 inches of it and everything would die any way ~

    ```
    These people must think we are just plain fucking stupid ~
    ```

    We all know that COREXIT killed everything in the gulf and continues to do so but so would this SOT ~ 11 by blocking light and oxygen

    ```
    Face it there is no solution to a major oil spill ~ !
  • Yes it is really depressing how unqualified people respond on this.
    In the late 70's a study from IBM showed that a PC will never ever be used by private persons.
    In UK and Scotland this product is tested by independent regulatory labs and received an approval as sinking agent, which does exactly what is described in the video.
    BTW only 1% of the oil-spils happen on deep oceans. 99% contaminate rivers, small seas, harbours and land.
  • hopefully this product will change to world soon.
    have just seen a documentary on television about the inventor werner kroh. it's a sad story, and it's a shame that the world was not able to recognize the products potential 20 years earlier.
    he got the same refusing reactions from the audience than here on this video^^
  • How do bacteria do when the water is 100s of metres of deep?
    Virtually no effect. The oil would be sitting on the sea floor for years.
  • Not much remediation going on on the sea bed. Too cold, insufficient oxygen. It's a long way down on the bed of the Gulf, unlike a scuba site at 5 metres depth.
    Could you imagine trying to sink 100,000 barrels a day? It would be 1ft deep on the bottom of the gulf.
    Interesting how there aren't too many tests from Switzerland, hmmmmm
  • Has this discovery been published in any peer reviewed journals? I'm reticent to believe its efficacy without some higher level of scrutiny being applied.
  • Read this german article by investigative journalist Gerhard Wisnewski who interviewed Paul Schuler, the head of this company (linked MP3 in the article): is (dot) gd/dIEa7
  • Ok, but you shall first plug the leak...
  • Clearly the the collusion of industry & government are allowing this ecological damage to continue by choosing not to use bioremedition with 2 decades of history of success with many large oil spills ! The marine biologists will lead & the corporatocracy will follow !
  • I hope our govervment allows this
  • A better product is Elastol
  • gogo !
  • this sot11 is not 100% clean up because I watch on video some fish don't like spill oil on sand!! Need clean up spill oil top of sea and must clean up bottom of sand too!
  • @MILLSAWS I think you need to watch the video again. I just watched it for the first time and it clearly explained that after the oil drops to the bottom of the ocean... it is converted into harmless bi-products and the sea floor is 99% clean after 30 days into the 100+ day process.
  • Ein Stoff, der so unschädlich ist, dass man ihn anfassen und sogar essen kann – und der trotzdem Öl bindet und rückstandsfrei abbaut? Schön wär's. Aber das ist keine Utopie, sondern Realität. Nur erzählen Ihnen weder Ölkonzerne noch »Qualitätsmedien« davon. Die Schweizer Firma »Oil Treatment International« hat nach eigenen Angaben solche Stoffe entwickelt und getestet und wartet auf die Zulassung in den USA. Hoffentlich nicht bis zum St. Nimmerleinstag.
  • Why has this just 4000views? This should have billions!
  • "Just buy it from us so we can make money because we're not in it to save the world." Right? Or is the chemical composition completely available to the public so anyone can make the stuff?
  • @hunter2458 I am not sure whether I understand your comment correct. Do you expect that investing for more than 20 years should end in giving away this for free? This is not like big inventions work and pay back. Just one more clarification - the product is chemical free its completely non-toxic and from natural ingredients.
  • ok, so can someone tell me WHY the hell hasn't this solution been applied in the Gulf oil spill disaster? Hidden agenda?
  • @ortizlgnd1 Because the chemicals being used are coming from the very same industry. Nalco is under Shell, and even though it ain't BP they both dig for the same ressoruces, which even Nalco uses for their dispersants.I'm telling you, it's a sad world we're living in...
  • I would not believe any of this advert. Sounds like bollocks.
  • @bluenail90 It is no advertisement and never was filmed as such, even it sounds like this. It was a documentary of a live exercise which was proposed in this way by the mentioned independent laboratory/authorities.
  • I wonder if this can be used on oil that's already made it to land.
  • @Hardwyre Yes it can - in those cases there is a liquid product available which cleans on solid surfaces.
  • So where is this stuff? We dont need special tech to distribute it, use fire-fighting planes or military bombers?
  • I have the same question as akuyuumtei. Just out of interest I have been surfing around to the solutions and actions taken right now. I'm sure corexit is not helping at all and is just masking the problem to the world. What is the current status of trying to get BP and the US gov use SOT11 ?
  • How expensive is this product compared to the toxic corexit that Bp's been using? Since Bp is so cheap, I doubt they'll use something sensible like this product unless it's the same price.
  • @akuyuumei let me tell you something about the toxic corexit: its about 4 times more toxic than the oil itsself. Consequently it ruins fauna and flora for centuries - how much is this worth? Additionally: Corexit does nothing else but bleaching the oil - the oil is still there but now bleached and not black.
    So as a conclusion SOT11 is much much cheaper cause its completely natural, non-toxic and does not harm fauna or flora.
    Thx for your imnterest!
  • @miq173 Yes, I know all about corexit. Also, I heard Bp has corporate connection with the makers of corexit which is why they're using it despite EPA's order to find something better. From your video, you guys have done a lot to test this product (unlike the videos by some uneducated farmers that I've seen on youtube) so how much is your company doing to get your product out there? Say like make the government order Bp to use SOT11 instead? Or selling this to independent environmental groups?
  • I don't like oil on bottom of ground sand not good
  • @MILLSAWS Thank you very much for your comment. This product is the first and lonely which has a approval as a sinking agent. As independend states-laboratories proves this Product does under no circumstanced releases the oil into fauna and flora.
  • @MILLSAWS
    Did you actually WATCH the video? It goes to the ocean floor so bacteria and microbes can break it down.
  • @MILLSAWS the micro organisms change the oil to water when the oil hits the sea floor.
  • I don't like oil fell down on ground sand didn't sound good!!
  • I don't like fell down on ground of sand doesn't sound good!!
  • Someone should call BP and tell them to purchase as much of this SOTII available! Before the oil ruins our beautiful Florida Beaches!
  • Thank you for this hope, maybe someone with the power to decide will start using it... congratulations... I will share this using my social media capability
    Maybe they are waiting until the price of the oil is better for their (some people) interests..... Someone will have a good business deal... but earth must be saved, regular people must speak load... lets use the social media to let our voice to be heard
  • Why you don't use this produkt in Gulf of Mexico? Many lifes could be saved. I am really angry seeing BP destroying our environment. Please contact BP and help them. All maybe "negative" consequenses would have been on a small area. Now huge coastlines are wasted.
  • Thank you very much for your comment and the thoughts you have about this solution. SOT11 does not contain microbes or bacteria as ingredients. The numerous laboratory results show that there is absolutely no mutation which could be affected by SOT11, since the working bacterias and microbes are natural from the existing environment. A raise of existing microbes and bacterias does not lead to unwanted effects other than more fertile ground.
  • however, lets think about the other processes and consequences of using this method. the Microorganisms would multiply, and the bacteria would dominate the sea floor. also the possibility of mutation among the bacteria to a microbe that might not only degrade oil-bonded SOT 11.
