@chrissy8ful That's the true ending, the epilogue is the second season where Otonashi probably (I'm just predicting) stayed for a while to help others "move on" before he supposedly left the afterlife (as shown in the true ending) Although, it did hint in the OVA episode that he was "waiting for someone"... who knows what the second season might be about. xD

@Sniperb0y008 Yes. He is, but he also stressed on writing the story, and found it annoying to go to meetings between Osaka and Tokyo each time. He shortened the episode list from 24 to 13 god knows why, but the reason it was criticized so harshly by reviewers is because of many plot holes and strange genre jumps. Example it's funny then sad, then gory (Naoi's episode). In the end, Jun Maeda went back to creating music for Key, something he never gets tire of.

I've been watching Animes since i moved... the first anime i saw went i move from NM to NY was Rio:Rainbow Gate (I seen animes before i moved...) It was an awesome anime and there were few episode in witch they showed Panties.. it was interesting.. the point of an anime is to convey a moral at the end, I dont see what Angel beats could tell us now in a season two, the moral is :move on with life and keep going forward, never take it for granted. Although the manga is still going which might indicate a 2nd season, its very unlikely unless they thrown the chain of morality all around.

Jun Maede is the greatest writer/composer in history of japanese anime... starting from Air, to AngelBeats and even Clannad. They were all just amazing. Anime's such as these or Code Geass, are the reasons why I watch anime. Though the ending was frustrating and sad, AngelBeats was an Amazing anime. such beauty... ; - ;

they might be new people, but they still have moments and certain things bonded to their souls. thus for, otonashi was able to recognize the song.
