@absoluteblkade3 One thing I don't like is that you can't adjust the text size (except in chat windows). This means it can be quite difficult to read on screens with high pixel density. i.e. 1920x1080 on 22"

@RoyCoert is it possible.. sure, would it be any good, probably not. Different ships get different bonus's, Fitting and using that ship in line with its bonuses are what makes the ship useful.

No there is no penalty. But there is most likely a bonus if you fit the beam weapon to the amarr, depending on the ship. A lot of caldari ships are very versatile. I fit my ferox with missiles and blasters. For close range.

This is a great tutorial it's a quick accurate description of the races. I personally use amarr because, as he mentioned the laser advantage and I could potentially get pretty deep into pvp once I'm done with my current goals and I'm glad I pocked amarr

yes and no the race defines what kind of ship you fly and the ships of each race have their own fields in which they are good however you will be able to train for the ships of other races but i do believe that shouldn't be done before you trained your character to a decent amount

however i am not 100% if that is actually correct since i fly minmatar and its not that hard. however for a beginner going for combat caldari is a good idea since they dont have to worry about a few of the variables. i would however suggest that you just do some research into the races like what kind of weaponry they use and what kind of defense they use and choose your fave

But for large scale pvp theyre at a disadvantage, since all the other races can armour tank, it makes the caldari the odd ones out

the races only determine the look of your character, the starting skills you get and location you start in. Other than that, not much. With enough time, you can fly every ship in the game.

Choosing a race gives you starting standings with your race and some starting skills in your race's ships. After the tutourial you can go do missions for any race (even to the point of becoming a wanted enemy of your own government) and also train any race's ships. Speed over firepower dont exist I'm afrain. Minmatar has a speed+firepower over defence strategy.

Awesome, I wish you the best. Theres definitely a need more more video tutorials since theres just a lot that is hard to get from simply reading. Maybe you guys could get some video of each race fighting to aid in understanding? Let me know if you want some footage. I can supply Minmatar/Amarr.

I'd recommend re-recording this with a script written out and a better microphone if possible. It sounds like you're basically just rambling about each race without much forethought. Great concept though.

As these video's are targeted toward a novice Eve player I doubt having script as well as a small budget for mic and voice lessons is necessary.
